Another event is coming up for everyone to participate in. This time there is actual Championship Points on the line.

There will be three age divisions.

Format: Doubles

Registration Period: 00:00 UTC, Thursday, March 14, 2013, through
23:59 UTC, Thursday March 21, 2013

Competition Period: 00:00 UTC, Friday, March 22, 2013, through 23:59 UTC, Monday, March 25, 2013

The following Pokémon cannot be used in this competition:
Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Chatot, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect

Totally ninja'd to this.
Except for CP, which will be awarded to the top 128 of Europe and America, there's also Rowap Berries on the line.

I'm probably taking part. I don't mind CP and I can't get them (probably) but just for the sake of it.
 
I probably won't get as high as last time since I will be judging all day Saturday at my States. I don't have a team decided yet unfortunately. My other problem is there was like no notice so I had no time to work on getting a team ready. I'll probably end up just throwing a team of six together.
 
I'm home for spring break, which means my wifi won't be terribad. I just might have to participate.

Do we know how many championship points we win if we are int he top 128?
 
VGCs were good for me when Rain hadn't completely taken over. In the Autumn tournaments I placed about 300th and I only played less than 20 games. However, when many started to use Rain or began to counter it, I found huge trouble, as I never had time to breed flawless or good-natured Pokemon, resulting in my Rain being inferior to most others, and me dropping a thousand places in the winter tournaments. The last Friendly went well, but that was Ubers. I guess I'll go in this with my old Rain team. I'll barely manage to stay above 1500 ranking, but that's fine. At least I'll have fun.
