So many Gardes!

I always told people to not sleep on Gardevoir but do we know which version it was? Energy dump or D. Ray? I just don't know where Scizor EX went. It's such a good deck.

Despair ray. There are a number of videos on it, Chaos Gym has an interview with Xander.

Sounds like he came across a few M Mewtwo decks, but I still don't get it - I won 70% of the matches I played against Gardevoir in December.

I must be out of the loop here, but what was the general change in the deck lists that got these over the Yveltal/Garb hump? It can't be as simple as "everyone tech'd Zebstrika because it went from dominating London to not even making the top 8 in Dallas.

Gardevoir STS style makes some sense against Yveltal due to its low energy cost, but this is unexpected.

Anyone have an idea on what the entry deck breakdown was for this tournament?

Dang if Garde got this far I feel VERY sad I faced 3 volcanion in my first 5 matches and tied one of them, the whole time I wanted to fight Mega Garde. The reason why is because a Mega Venusaur deck, as I've tested, has a very good matchup against Mega Garde.

Actually I think thats the reason why and its because Yveltal EX did so well, so everyone swapped decks. I feel the next Regionals is going to be Mega Scizor because of how well Fairy decks are doing so you can either play Mega Scizor or Volcanion.

Honestly, I am glad this happened. It reaffirms the "rock/paper/scizor (ha)" aspect of this particular meta. I don't particularly like it when there is one deck to rule them all in a meta and think it is pretty awesome that there are a number of viable decks.

Pretty much. All the cards are so powerful anything at all can happen. Makes it really hard to call anything but I'm sure we'll be seeing a rise of Scizor decks now.
