Hi everyone.
So I've been away from the TCG for over 3 years, 4 when winter arrives and I've finally decided to come back for next season.
I have bought a tin, a few packs, and watched some videos the the trusty Youtube and have to say I'm really impressed by the strength of Mewtwo EX. Across 10 packs I also pulled Victini EX, Terrakion EX and both Black & White Kyurem EX, but the standout would have to be that Victini EX, the energy acceleration and anti-EX attack is pretty cool, its only let down being its low HP.
I have created this list just as a guide for me to improve upon and take consideration of any help given in the thread.
Pokemon = 9
4 Victini EX
4 Mewtwo EX
1 Terrakion EX or Landorus EX
Trainer = 37
3 N
3 Juniper
4 Eviolite
3 Hypnotoxic Laser
1 Victory Piece
4 Bicycle
3 Colress
2 Skyla
1 First Ticket
4 Tool Scrapper
3 Random Receiver
2 Skyarrow Bridge
4 Plus Power
Energy = 14
3 Psychic
3 Blend
2 Fire
2 Fighting
4 DCE
So here we have Victini EX as the starter Pokemon and Mewtwo EX as the 1st turn bench sitter being powered up by the Energy Acceleration from Victini EX and attaching a DCE next turn to guarentee a damage output of 80, or power up 2 Mewtwo's with the 2 Energy on one and DCE on another. Terrakion or Landorus are to provide a counter to Darkrai EX.
I really don't know what the standard list for TSS is anymore but it seems that decks are more supporter heavy than trainers due to the amount of great cards that are out there. I've gone with list for the draw power it provides, the disruption N can cause, Victory Piece is to help a Victini EX due to its second attack being quite expensive for a 50 minimum hit and First Ticket is just for a little fun if I draw into it, discardable with Junipers if I draw it later on.
Energy is just set to be spreadable across all Pokemon, Blend to provide for Mewtwo and Victini, along with their own basic energy. Fighting for the Darkrai counter, DCE for Mewtwo mainly.
So possible additions are Sigilyph for the EX-nulling effect, but other than that, any suggestions?
