When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.
When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

And it's Unlimited! You're my new favorite person. On to the deck, though:
I really like the concept behind it; it reminds me a lot of Magneboar, but you can still retrieve the energies from the discard. I'm no expert on 40 card decks, but I have a deck with Claydol and Underground Expedition comes in handy, especially in here if you see something you need with Metagross' ability, you can grab it that way. It looks like you might need another way of discarding the energies in the first place, but again, I'm not expert in the 40 card format.
I'm curious as to how this became popular in your area. At league, there were two of us who wanted to have an Unlimited format with possibly a tournament with it during Battle Roads. We even had nost of the logistics worked out, but the other guy left for college, though, and now it seems no one wants to do it
Also, I thought you might want to look at my deck. It's not 40 cards, but it's Unlimited, and I could use a second opinion.

Ok so this got huge when we wanted to play quick unlimited games at modified tournaments and it just took off and now a local card shop holds non play pokemon tournaments for 5$ buy in's and we normaly get 40 people it's so much fun to play anyways back to the deck a little the discard is pretty perfect because you almost always have a junk arm in hand with only 40 cards and this deck almost always sets up turn one cuz you can junk arm your metal energy away and get it on the active with the other metagross I used to run a pachirisu for max damage turn one but it messed up the consistence to be able to fight off the SP luxchomp deck but yeah this metagross deck and luxchomp are tier 1 decks I built my metagross based on the old metagross deck I played back in delta species I'll post a few more big decks that are played so you can see some of the meta game

Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was because of having 20 less cards or what.
Oh, and one more thing. If you can get them, run Item Finder instead of Junk Arm; you can get back Supporters with it too. Yeah, you only have FSL, and you'll probably never have to get it out (especially in a 40 card deck), but it's just one of those things.

Well I run it just incase I have to get a bunch of stuff back because most of the times I have used up my junk arms in the early game to try and setup super fast and I have been finding I don't really need both much so I might cut one for a pokemon catchers and and and flower shop lady is so cute with sudowoodo -^_^-

Energy Retrieval gets you the energies back if you do discard them. Advice is welcome; I had to cut a lot of stuff out because of the 40 card thing.

Flygon's ability only works when its active, and you'd end up with half the discarding that Durant has. You're better off with Durant as your only attackers, 4 sp metal 4 normal metal as your only energy, some revive, some level ball, eviolites, some hammers/energy removal, and the rest is just for consistency.

So what are are the rules in playing this format? I'm very interested since I miss using my older cards from classic sets (man you're starting to make feel old by saying that!). The problem with unlimited is the T1-end games, I haven't experienced it myself, but I heard a lot about it. To put the unlimited format in a decent direction, I think the Base set Trainers should be banned, Base set Trainers are always center of attention in most games, without them I think the format would be a bit more balanced than it is.
