Alright this sort of matter has been bugging me ever since the big reveal. We were given an amount of poke'mon whoes conceptional design is far different from that of the normal poke'mon that we have over the years, I think it is certainly something that we can possibly comprehend, but what do you think?

It's because there are new (different) artists and spriters working on the project for black and white.

i REMEMBER POKEBEACH AND SEREBII MENTIONING SOMETHING OF THAT MATTER.

I got a answer. Look at the past pokemons eyes...Primeape, Magnemite, Muk, Voltorb, Krabby, Quilfish, Elekid etc.
They all have dotted eyes.
Now, look at the new pokemons...They have better designed eyes, still very different.
That´s one of maaaaaany factors!!

Eyes are important in the pokemon series considering most fighting types have red shot eyes.
