So, today was my first BR's. I've been playing about a year and a half, but no BR's. SHUT UPPP. I ordered a whole bunch of cards from the Gathering Ground two weeks ago, but their customer service sucks and so does our mail system, so my cards didn't come. I borrowed a few from my buddies Vulpix Yolk and LORDY JONES, cuz we were sleeping over at LJ's house the day before. I also had to change my list a bit, but for the better.
So, we get to the tourney, but I was still missng a lone Oddish. I'm using VilePluff, because it's really cool. We run into Mous Arishi and ToasterStrudelFrenzy there, and MA is cool and gives me an Oddish. I write out my list, and start shuffling. We only have 10 Seniors and 5 Juniors, so we merge them. Seniors will have a top-cut of 2.
Round 1- Vs. TSF's li'l sister
So, she was just running an Arceus Pre-made deck, but as far as those go, she was playing well. I get Spiritomb out early, and just totally set up. She didn't have much for Jumpluff, but gets a prize off a Sunkern. In the end, I win 0-5. GG.

Round 2- Vs. VUlpix Yolk
Vulpix YOlk is running his weird Luxray LA rogue, and I have a pretty even match-up against it, but I get off to an Oddish/Unown Q start, then draw a Hoppip from his mulligan. I just have nothing to draw with, he gets set-up early and I have nothing. He wins 4-0, I believe. GG.

Round 3- Vs. Michael
I don't remember anyone's last name. He's playing a Donphan with some techs, but all I see is the Donphan and a Toxicroak AR (this is an underrated card). I get set-up quickly and sweep fairly easily. GG.

Round 4- Vs. Alejandra H.
She's actually a Junior, and one of our judge's little sister. She's 3-0, so I'm actually scared. We both get 'Tomb starts, and she gets a Gastly. I'm fairlycertain she's playing GenPlume, which is fine with me cuz I have a pretty good match-up. I make some pretty clever plays (Time Walk to dump Trainers FTW) to avoid OHKOs, but I feel bad because she misses all 3 Fainting Spells she used. Part of me thinks that's what people get for playing a flippy card to revenge-kill, but she's just a kid. I start sweeping ignoring the trainer lock, and I believe I win 0-3. GG.

I miss top-cut, but 3rd is cool with me. I get terrible pulls in my two packs, but hey. It was a lot of fun.
