It was a short BR's, so this will be a short report. If this breaks any rules or anything, the mods can merge it with my other report. We again merge Juniors and Seniors but have no top cut. Masters only had a Top 2 cut. I'm again using VilePLuff, with a few minor tweaks from my list the day before that ended up saving me. I had to resleeve, but whatever, Patricia is a cool TO and gives me UD PR sleeves.
Round 1: Jackson J.
He's a Junior, the son of one of our judges, playing a pretty good Tyranitar SF. Early game, I'm dominating with Jumpluff under the lock, but midgame he gets out a T-Tar that I can't KO because he's keeping his bench small. I make a bad play by Leaf Guarding, thinking that's he's already played 3 DCE, he couldn't knock me out unless he played another one, so it's a safe play. However, I forgot that he obviously played SP. Dark so he throws one down and KO's me. I have a hard time from here, and I have to sacrifice 3 prizes to Grind before I get out a Chatot MD, Mimic to get an energy, then send up a Jumpluff for the revenge, game-winning KO. GG.
Round 2: Skyler H.
This kid is playing a random deck utilizing Sceptile AR and Meganium Prime, but he managed to beat Vulpix Yolk round 1 by getting 2 heads on a Sceptile AR's Dual-Cut (I think that's the name. Whatever). I get off to a 'TOmb start, set-up, and just blow through him with Jumpluff. He gets nothing under the Plume lock. GG.
Round 3: Lucas F.
He's playing Sableock, which totally sucks because my deck is really DONKable. I get off to a lone Oddish start, he gets a Honchkrow G. I draw a Collector, but alas. No Supporters first turn. He attaches Dark and a Gain, then SP Radars for a Bat, drops it and Target Attacks for the win. I hate DONKs, but this kid got donk'd at last BRs SOOOOO many times between ToasterStrudelFrenzy and LORDY JONES. GG.
LJ nudges me out for third by an opponent's win percentage of only 3% higher. Whatever, it was fun. I get a Raichu Prime in one of my packs.
