I'm Nuzlocking Soulsilver. I'll be writing here to summarize my days (and do some live updating), there will be illustrations, too! Oh man!
If you don't know, Nuzlocke is the challenge version of Pokemon. The rules are that you must release any Pokemon that faint, they're dead. You can also only catch the first Pokemon you see in each area.
Day 1
I started with Totodile. I was using Cyndaquil the first time I ran the game, and Nuzlocking with Chikorita is only the hardest thing ever, so yeah. I named him Wayne, after a truly quality human being. So that'll be my the theme for my nicknames. They're all rappers. I did that boring start-of-the-game stuff, and by the time I got to Falkner, my ranks included Wax the Rattata and Eminem the Kakuna.
Falkner was a pushover, and Wayne beat both his Pokes with repeated use of Water Gun. I've missed a couple Pokemon oppurtunities, mostly by choice. I kept seeing Rattatas, which of course I already have. I wanted to get a Mareep or a Geodude, but eh.
By the end of the day, I had gotten to Azalea and beaten Team Rocket. The Togepi egg that Prof. Elm gives you hatched into a boucing baby Herbal T while I was in Azalea. I had also caughten a Slowpoke in the Well, but I'm not using it because I already have a Water-type and it's a female. Female rappers? C'mon, let's be serious... my ranks were filled out by the Zubat, DFD.
Day 2
The day started off with the battle against Bugsy. I mean, not really, I had to get through the Gym, but his trainers are wimps. I led with Wayne, who was at 17 and had been taught Rock Tomb through TM. Unfortunately, Rock Tomb missed on the first turn, forcing me to sacrifice DFD to avoid a U-Turn at -1 Defense. Fortunately, Rock Tomb worked the second time, and though it didn't KO, I got the Speed drop allowing me to get the kill next turn. His Kakuna and Metapod were just free experience for Herbal T.
Eminem had become a Beedrill during the gym, before Bugsy. Unfortunately, I still couldn't rely on him because his only attacking move was Fury Attack. Wayne evolved into Croconaw as soon as the battle with Bugsy was over.
Stepped out of the gym and healed up before battling my Rival. Gastly died to a Bite from Wax, and Bayleef was slowly worn down by Focus Energy + Fury Attack from Em. Zubat was killed with an Extrasensory from Herbal T.
Continue on the path to Goldenrod. First Poke in Ilex forest was a Kakuna. Welp. I could've seen like, a Hoppip or a Drowzee on Route 34, but lucky me saw another Rattata. I grinded quite a bit, because Whitney was my next battle. I don't care what anyone says, Whitney's Miltank is the toughest boss in video games, ever.
Her Clefairy, I don't even know what to say about it. It was an easy fight, but I did have to use a Potion on Eminem (who finally got a Reliable STAB move in Twineedle), because her Clefairy got 5 hits on Doubleslap, twice in a row. Now, Miltank. Ugh. My first move was to use Herbal T's Charm three times, because at -6 her Stomps didn't do much. I then Yawned, let its Lum Berry Wake it up, then Yawned again. After that, I just used Wayne to stall out her Milk Drink PP and Bit her to death. btw, I was immobilized by love six times in a row.
Well, that's the end of the second day. Three badges, not bad.

Day 3
Started off and got a Abra on ROute 35. I named it Lil Mama because it's a female and her and Nicki Minaj are the only women rappers I know. And I'd like to stray away from Nicki Minaj. I leveled her up a bit, then moved up to Route 36 to catch SudoWoodo. I decided to something similar to what I did with Whitney's Miltank, I Charmed it and used Yawn with Herbal T. As I was wearing it down with Extrasensory, my heart stopped, my eyes widened, and a pit formed in my stomach when it woke up, used Flail, and the words "A critical hit!" ran along the bottom of my screen.
"Herbal T!" I cried aloud. "Noooooooooooooo..." but it was too late. Herbs was dead. In a fit of rage, I sent out Wayne, fully prepared to kill the evil tree that had murdered Herbal T. But, as I was about to click Water Gun, I got some sense, threw a heavy ball, and caught it. I named it Immortal, because it has "No Mercy." That's it for now, still continuing this day.
Update 1: Oh no! While training in the National Park, a Pokedad's Raichu got a crit Quick Attack on Eminem while he was at -1, killing him. My first catch, gone! He was so important for his Fighting resist... But! There's a silver lining! Lil Mama evolved into a Kadabra! She's not a great Fighting resist due to her low defense, but oh well. At least she can fight now.
Update 2: On Route 37 I caught a Pidgey. I'll probably replace it if I get a better Flier, but at least I have something more to combat Fighting types.
Update 3: Alyssa (Marie, fyi) evolved, and I caught a Magnemite, which I named Dimez (-a-Duzin). I'm hoping in the future to get a Bellsprout on Route 44, as it will give me really great type coverage, in terms of Resistance. An Exeggcute will do fine, too. No badges today, but I made it to Ecruteak. I'll just do a little leveling, because all of my team members can handle Ghosts pretty well. Also coming tomorrow (albeit later) are illustrations! Yaaaaaaaaay

Day 4
Ugh. The day starts off with the battle against my rival. I get haxxed. Bad. First thing, his Gastly gets off the Confuse Ray on Wayne, who promptly hits himself in confusion. Luckily, I hit on the next turn, as he does a Mean Look. I then switched right out of there, because I really don't want to lose anything to Bayleef. I had a plan. I would use Dimez, my new Magnemite, because he's immune to Poisonpowder, can confuse, and can bypass Reflect with Sonicboom. Good thing I miss Supersonic three times as he gets a crit with Magical Leaf. I bring in Alyssa, seeing that Dimez will die soon, and take the Magical Leaf relatively well.
He switches (I didn't even know he could do that) out to Magnemite, so I bring in Immortal to hit it with a Low Kick. He hits me with Thundershock on the switch... and gets the Parahax. I'm Paralyzed on the next turn, so he just gets to spam Sonicboom. Luckily, I break through the Paralysis at some point, and eventually kill him with Low Kick. He brings Bayleef back in, so I go into Wax. His Reflect is down, so I figured I could Flinch him to death before he got it back up. Not only does he not Flinch, he hits the Poisonpowder. After stalling a bit between healing and Hyper Fang, I go back out to Dimez because I know he'll heal. I heal up and take the Magical Leaf. I finally hit the Supersonic and go back to Alyssa. Then he snaps out of it.
-_-
I just start spamming Gust because he's out of Synthesis PP, and he hits a third Poisonpowder. I'm outspeeding him, so I think I have him in the bag. I'm also at near full health. Then, he moves first, gets another critical hit with Magical Leaf, and Alyssa dies to Poison after taking him out. I know I have it won, since all he has is Zubat, but just to pour salt in the wound, Wayne misses Ice Fang and he hits a Supersonic. Seriously.
So, I need a new flier. I have a Caterpie from the National Park. I'll name it Nursehella for LORDY. But Butterfree can't learn Fly so... I guess I'll have to catch another Pidgey sometime. Or something.
Update 1: Hm. While training Dimez, a Stantler gets a critical Stomp while he was asleep. Poor little guy didn't even have a chance. It's really too bad, I needed those Electric, Grass and Dark resists.
Update 2: Jeez. Morty was a massive pushover. Wax was at 23 and Wayne at 25 when I entered the gym, so I used the trainers to raise Lil Mama and Immortal a bit. I decided not to use Lil Mama for the battle with Morty, because most of his Pokes have Sucker Punch. But Morty was too easy. I just had Wayne use Bite then switched to Wax to use Crunch on Gengar. It was insane. He didn't even get either of them below half health.
Update 3: Lost the opportunity to get another Magnemite, as it died to a crit from Immortal. No mercy. That is the only critical hit I have gotten all game. All game. And it came at the time when I least wanted it. Ugh.
Update 4: In Olivine, beating up the lighthouse. Unfortunately, while training Nursehella (by switching), she was hit by a Fearow's Pursuit and killed. Sorry LORDY. On Route 40, I caught a Tentacruel. Named Minaj, because it's female and she's toxic. Get it? The team has a lot of prooblems in terms of weaknesses. Electric, Ground, and Grass are three types that I have two weaknesses and no resistance to. I'll probably Replace Minaj at some point, hopefully alleviating the Electric and Ground problem, but she'll be useful at the next gym for her Fighting resist.
