Ruling a good seacher

is there a pokemon seacher (basic) that can search for an evolution with a colourless energy?

Pinsir LM for instance. Good searcher for Grass, except for ex.

Absol from LM (I think) can search for exs with a single colorless energy. I really cannot think of another one at this time, however.

corsola from uf can search your deck for a water or fighting non-ex

torkoal from lm can search for a non-fire ex

azurail ds search your deck for a pokemon that is the same type as a basic energy in your hand.

No, Unown M isn't Jirachi's 'Make a Wish'... It's the same attack yes, but Unown needs Psychic energy to use it. Jirachi needed 1 colourless energy, which makes Jirachi much more playable in other decks, while Unown M is best suited when your deck involved Psychic energy.

I beg to differ on this. Even though you need psychic energy for it, you can easily attach a holon enery/add some rainbow to a deck to use it, and also gives you another 2/3 attacks in your deck, such as the disrupitve e or i.

Holon Magneton/Holon Electrode = 2 turn, waste of energy.
I agree with Abhorsen, jirachi is more flexible.

Attaching rainbow to a 60 hp Unown will make him easy to kill, and using holon energy on Unown?....it's a waste.

and if ur playing unlimited w/ psychic use SS wynaut as it can searh for basic, can search for 2 if u have holon dude attached,can search for evo even if u don't have basic on the field and can evo into a safe-guarder (wobbuffet SS)
