PokePayDay
Hey everyone!
My name is Matt and I am an avid pokemon tcg player/fan. I recently decided to embark on a little experiment of mine and start selling pokemon cards. However, I have a distinct disadvantage and that is that there are many well established sites out there. My question to you guys is as follows: How do I gain a competitive advantage and acquire customers in this market? What are you, the customers looking for when buying cards.
Obviously prices are key. It seems that all of the current card selling sites mark up cards prices by 25-50% which I do not plan on doing. Shipping also seems to be very slow from most of these places. I guess the real challenge will be taking customers away from my competitors but what would be the best way to reach the customers? I've thought about posting on 6P, pokebeach, etc... I currently sell cards on ebay and wanted to include business cards with shipments. I also plan on purchasing some space from google adsend.
Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated since you guys are the customers!! Thanks!
