Alright, so I was looking on The Cave Of Dragonflies and I found this in Fancy a Challenge
"Train all your Pokémon evenly - basically, every time you have access to a PC, you make sure that you are carrying six of your lowest-leveled Pokémon overall. Exceptions are only to be made in the case of HM moves you need to have. This can make things freakishly hard in no time, as your levels will be extremely low compared to even the wild Pokémon you will be facing; it also allows you nice room to devise strategies for Gym leaders and such, since you will have such a wide selection of evenly-leveled Pokémon. The downside is that this can be almost too hard, what with the abundance of nearly completely useless Pokémon - to weigh against this, you could perhaps choose not to capture every Pokémon you find."
I thought this sounded interesting, so I decided to try it in Firered. It could be done in any game, of course. But I modified it. The rules are as followws
1. Everytime you use the Pokemon Center, use the PC and pull out your 6 lowest leveled Pokemon.
2. Before the first gym, you must have at least 6 Pokemon
3. The minimum number of Pokemon goes up by two every gym
It sounds simple, but it gets really hard. I don't know if this has any chance of catching on, but I'm enjoying it. I have 3 badges, just beat the Pokemon Tower. My team is
Mankey lv24
Beedrill lv24
Charmeleon lv24
Machop lv24
Gloom lv24
Butterfree lv25
Growlithe lv25
Nidoqueen lv25
Dratini lv25
Eevee lv25
Pikachu lv25
Kadabra lv25
Diglett lv25
Farfetch'd Lv26
It takes an extremely long time to cycle through your entire "team". And I dislike the lack of Water Pokemon thus far. But it's still very fun
