Can you use the old basic energys in the touraments after Sep 1, 2008.

basic energies arent rotated along with sets

special energies are though

yup. you can use any basic energy from base set to newest ones.(personally, i like matrix energies, but have none -_-)

Yeah, Basic Energies aren't affected by rotation (even if they were, all of the basic Energies were reprinted in DP, so they'd still be in format). It's a good thing too, since all of my energies came from Base Set. :/

You are allowed to use all kinds of basic energy. Even old holo ones are allowed. Basic Energy are never rotated.
