BW/BW2 a theory about black and white

now pokebeach not to long ago posted all the rumors going around that they got from an individual about the tauros evolve form and the third legendary in the new game. now one of the things that he mentioned was that the new pokedex will have 157 pokemon...which is pretty much a whole pokedex by itself. so i tried to think how this could be true and this is what i came up with.

in the new game we know that the new region is far away from the other regions and also that all the other regions are kind of close together. so this new region since it is so far away, the other pokemon of the other regions dont appear in this region because it is so far away thus making the rumor true that there are 157 new pokemon.

another thing. just like in g/s and r/b the kanto and johto regions were connected and sinnoh wasnt to far away since oak was in d/p. so i think that in future games after b/w the regions in the games after b/w will connect and be close together. just a thought...what do you think?

It's HIGHLY unlikely that they'd make it so you couldn't access anything outside that region's dex. I mean, I guess it kind of makes sense for an isolated region to have isolated wildlife, but stuff like Rattata & Zubat should be virulent enough species to infiltrate pretty much any area of the Pokemon world. Also, there's the ocean to consider. It's got to border with SOMETHING, and if that something has any Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/Sinnoh pokemon then it's an easy access path.

Now, I don't think that they would completely isolate all other pokemon. Then I would SERIOUSLY not buy this game.

Your theory has a couple of holes in it.

For instance, you stated just because a region is far away, and that if it indeed did not have any old pokemon, it woud have 157 pokemon in the pokedex? How does this make ANY sense?

Secondly, most people tend to forget this, but Hoenn was deemed far away from the other regions. it had a lot of new pokemon but there was still a handful of some from the previous generations. You are likely to see about 20-30 old pokemon in BW.
 
for me, i actually don't care how much old pokemon are on the dex, but I just wish the rumor on 157 new pokemon is true :D

Yes that would be quite nice. Everyone loves new pokemon, and that many, if indeed true, would be excellent.
 
my shift key isnt broken i just dont capitalize. i was just trying to figure out how we could have a whole new dex. now that i think about it HG and SS had over 200 in the normal dex so why cant BW have the same
 
Like everyone else has said, this is highly unlikely, but it is an interesting theory considering Isshu is supposed to be a very far away region, but don't forget that some of the marine/flying Pokemon (Magikarp/Tentacruel/Zubat/ect) are bound to be in the region. And like SquirtleTamerr said, we probably will see about 20-30 non B/W Pokemon. I also wouldn't mind seeing over 200 Pokemon like the HG/SS dex. :)
 
Certain pokemon, like Tauros, Miltank, Rattata and other various rodents and insects would have been brought to Isshu via boats over the years. Some not intentionally.
 
Sadly i think the games Staple pokemon will appear threw out Isshu. Zubats, Geodude, and Tentacruel. Cause they like to make us mad and buy alot of super repels. With this said i hope they focus more on making new pokemon and having as little older gen pokemon as possible unless they are giving Evo's to them
 
Tentacool is most likely going to appear in Isshu (unfortunately) as it is the most reliable way to train special defence.
 
Pikachu and the other pokemon that have been in every gen since Kanto will find a way to Isshu. Hopefully, Zubat get's grounded and Koromori takes his place :)
 
well didnt they say they're 'going back to basics' with the new generation
so maybe there wont be zubats etc
but isshu equivalents of them?
 
I like only new pokemon in the beggining but after u complete t
he dex u better be able catch lots of old pokemon

Well, this is true. The theory is broken, has holes, etc.

ALthough, it is possible that there are 157 new pokemon but the pokedex will probably not be 157. It will probably be more like 180 - 220. For example, i believe Platinum had 210 Pokemon in the Pokedex and HG & SS had about 250 (For not the National Pokedex, that's A LOT.) . I think it is possible that we could see 157 brand new Pokemon in B & W, but i HIGHLY doubt that there wouldn't be ANY old Pokemon in the Region/Pokedex.

I think on the first Routes we're gunna be seeing Pokemon like Chiramii and Mamepato, but i also think there will be others EVENTUALLY but not right away. For example, Hoenn's first Routes had Zigzagoon and Poochyenna and Sinnoh's had Bidoof and Starly. (see the simalarity between Starly and Mamepato? Likely that Mamepato is on the first Route(s)?)

I think that many of our old favorites will be kept in the new game like, Ghastly line, Machop line, Zubat line (Is it possible to be replaced by Koromori?), Onix line, Abra line, Magikarp line (This better stay... MAGIKARP FTW!!!! :p), Geodude line, Happiny/Chansey line (Blissey has hard-core HP), Pichu/Pikachu (Well, No DUH....), Munchlax/Snorlax, Unown (Maybe some new symbols example= *, $, # maybe?), Feebas line (Just because Milotic is pure agony), Sneasel line (Beacause Ice Shard is wicked fast), and many others could be kept/booted as well. With all of the ones I've listed along with the 157, you have about 190 Pokemon. Like I said, others could be added or booted so it could be a Pokedex from the 157 possible to 250 something like HG/SS.

In conclusion, i think that B/W will be two new games with many mysteries and many stories. New things will be revealed only when the games come out and when we see some gameplay, some Pokemon will only be in certain areas or certain times, i think that the rumors of the new "Weather Changer Things" might be true (As we saw with one of the first gameplay pictures with Reshiram), I think that the Gym Leaders will be stronger, smarter, and better than ever (Maybe using those "Weather Changer Things"), Our Rival will be stronger, more eager to fierce us (Battle us more often), and possibly not related to the Proffessor Again (It's only happened in Johto and Sinnoh.... :( Why the heck do they have to be related? We get a Pokedex for free and we're not his Grandon, Son, Grandaughter, Daughter, Etc.....), I think the new villains will be more fierce, have cooler theme music (I pray.... :rolleyes: ), and will try to keep on coaxing us into joining them.

I think that some Pokemon will only Evolve when given special new items, new stones (Sun, Moon, Thunder, Etc.), Time of Day, Friendship/Hatred (Hopefully they don't take the Hatred thing the wrong way....) I think that Reshiram and Zekrom will have their own special place in the skies of the Region and that "The Green Pokemon (It better not be that gimpy little toy....)" will be somewhere on the ground and might be like a mediator and exiled or something.

I think that the villains won't try to take the powers of the legendary Pokemon (Aww.... the good days when Team Rocket was around.... i think.... :() example = Team Aqua wanted Kyogre and Team Magma wanted Groudon and Team Galactic wanted Dialga and Palkia but not Giratina (Only more emphasizing my point that "The Green Pokemon might be like a mediator and exiled and everything.)

Anyway, I can't wait to see what B/W has in store for us.
