Hey Beachbums - was out jogging the other day when the idea of pairing Alolan Vulpix with Typhlosion occurred to me, and I've got to say that I am really surprised at how well this deck is doing:

So the key is to get out Vulpix as quickly as possible if you don't start it. Also, you want to get out as many Pokemon and non-energy resources as you can out of your deck before erupting. This means sacrificing a couple of Vulpix, but that's why Teammates is in there.
Hope it works as well for you as it has for me.

With Mallow I was only winning 50%. It didn't start clicking until Vulpix and Teammates.
