Ruling abilities question

if my Geodude has Selfdestruct and says Selfdestruct 50 then underneath it says "Does 10 Damage to each benched pokemon." does it do 50 damage to the defending pokemon and 10 to each benched, or just to the benched?

i have to say, I've played Magic:The gathering for many years now and am just jumping into Pokemon for fun but the wording on some of these cards is very poorly written. It took me and my friend forever to figure out if Darkness energy hurt the pokemon or helped it.

It does 50 to the defending pokemon and 10 to each Pokemon on the bench as well.
(Geodude is also knocked out, so I wouldn't do this if you don't have anything on the bench).

A numbers listed to the right of an attack name denotes damage done to the Defending Pokémon. So the attack does 50 damage to the Defending Pokémon as well as 10 damage to each player's Benched Pokémon.
