Apparently, some abilities that were rather useless before this are getting some MAJOR additions.
Heres what I can think of so far:
(Ability/old use/new use)
Sturdy/stops 1hko moves from KOing/stops ALL 1hkos against this pokemon (hangs on with 1 HP, like focus sash)
And new abilities for old pokemon:
Vaporeon/used to have just Water Absorb, apparently when obtained from the Dream World, it will now have Hydration
(post other abilities here and I will add them)
And lastly, this thread is to discuss there competetive purpose.
Heres one. Skarmory and Foretress both have the Sturdy ability, though because 1hko moves where NOT allowed in competetive play, these abilities were useless. Now, they could become a LOT more useful, being able to take fire attacks, and donphan taking ice. This could be a interesting effect on the metagame, especially when these pokemon are used as leads, becuase they would always survive without needing a focus sash, which could make Flail on sturdy pokemon all the more viable.
