is jirachi's 1st attack basically d same as rare candy? Ex, i hv a beldum in my bench,can i get metagros using jirachi and evolve? Tnx

Does it say Stage 2? Then no.
this is what is written: search your deck for a card that evolves from 1 of your pokemon and put it on that pokemon.(this counts as evolving that pokemon). If u do,put 1 damage counter on jirachi.shuffle your deck afterwards.

Make a Wish tells you to search your deck for a card that evolves from 1 of your Pokémon. The key phrase here is "evolves from."
If I use Make a Wish and target, say, a Beldum I have in play, I would need to search my deck for any card that "evolves from" Beldum.
Since Metagross "Evolves from" Metang, and not Beldum, I wouldn't be able to pick Metagross if I use Make a Wish on a Beldum. There would have to be a Metagross that says "Evolves from Beldum" for that action to be legal.
