Ruling Absol

I used Absol(SW) in a honchkrow deck, i liked it. However, i am wondering does raid work turn 1? So you could turn one KO with a special dark or PP or SC(if you go second)? Also the strategy with Absol is just to disrupt your opponents start with Baleful Wind right? or am i looking at it wrong? lol

Here's the text from Absol:

[c] Baleful Wind
Choose a card from your opponents hand without looking and discard it. If you discarded a trainer, supporter, or stadium card, choose one more card from your opponent's hand without looking and discard it.

[D] Raid
If you played Absol from your hand this turn this attacks base damage is 40 instead of 10

P.S.
also with baleful wind if you get a trainer supporter stadium on the second card you dont get a third right? lol

1) no, it has to be played from your hand in the same turn for the bonus damage.
2) Correct (otherwise, forget about having a hand).

Absol can still donk Shuppet CG with a special Dark Energy =)

You can raid for 40 anytime in the game. As long as you play absol the same turn.

puting absol in the setup fase does not count as puting it from your hand. then, the raid effect does not activate.
