Ruling Aerodactyl and talonflame with no basic

The option of only playing 4 gale wing talonflame is an idea that guaranty you oppenimg with a talonflame as active pokemon but the problem with this is you won't be able to play other pokemon than that one talonflame. But playing 4 talonflame and 4 aerodactyl also guarantee the talonflame oppening. Using talonflame attack to get old amber aerodactyl and fossil excavation kit. The problem here is that there is a rule saying that you need at least one basic pokemon in your deck. Do I need to play one other basic pokemon in a deck with only talonflame and aerodactyl. Since this rule exist for the purpose of being able to start a game since you need a basic but talonflame allow you to start a game without basic.

Yes, as per deckbuilding rules, your deck must contain at least one Basic Pokémon. You can play a single Magikarp, 4 Talonflame and 4 Aerodactyl if you'd like, but the basic is a must. Otherwise the deck is considered invalid.
