Hi! I’m making a new grass type deck based on the new alolan exeggutor GX. I have no idea what to put into the deck, so can somebody please make one? Conditions for the deck are: No hard to get Pokemon or trainers like Tapu leles, and make it standard format. And also, u can include ultra prism cards if u need to.

I can't make a list for you now, I ave to get to school, but Leafeon GX and Shining Legends Venesaur make good options!

Here's a deck list i put together so far:

pokemon (18):
3 Alolan Exegutor GX
3 execute (crimson invasion)
3 venusaur (shining legends)
2 ivysaur (shining legends)
3 bulbasaur (shining legends)
2 eevee (SM base)
2 Leafeon GX (ultra prism)

trainers (27)
3 rescue stretchers
4 hala
2 guzma
2 professors letters
3 choice bands
2 rare candy
3 float stone
4 Gardenia (for extra healing)
2 devoured field (damage boost)
2 Bridgette

Energy (15)
12 grass
3 DCE

Tactic: snipe and hit hard using Exegutors tropical head, using Leafeon and gardenia for tanky healing.

I've had some success running a 3-3 line of Exeguttor plus a 3-2-3 of Venusaur, with the help of 2 Rare Candies.
I can tell you that Venusaur makes the difference by far, so try to setup 2 of them as soon as you can.

Regarding the trainers in your list, be careful with the Revitalizers because Alolan Exeguttor is Dragon type, not grass. Something like Rescue Stretcher may be better.
And remember Aether Paradise Conservation Area is only for basic Pokemon.

*Jaw Drop* Your list is amazing. Some suggestions I have: Drop the Cynthias and replace with Hala, Tapu Koko is good for adding that little damage boost to AE' attack, and I cannot stress enoough the importance of at LEAST two Brigette. I'm running the deck myself right now, and its incredibly important to start with an Eevee, and use Turn one Brigette, then attach energy to Eevee to evolve and use Grand Bloom. Hala is generally better than Cynthia because you'll usually have used your GX attack turn one.

If you want full potential from this, play it in expanded w/ Propagation Exeggcute. Guarantees full T2 setup.

What you could also do is use one or two copies of the baby AloEgg, since it'll effectively do the same thing as a Grand Bloom, but just for the exeggcute. Yes, it requires something like a wally, but it is something to think about.

I would have to agree.

Just out of curiosity, would venusaurs jungle totem ability increase the number of coin flips on baby AloExecutor's attack?

Yes I believe so.

Because its ability makes 1 grass= 2 grass.

So yes.
