First deck garage thread. Been playing since the beginning of the year, thinking I am starting to play the game pretty well. Looking to take my game to the next level by traveling to some premiere events next year and looking to increase my understanding of the game here on PokeBeach. Here is the deck I use online: Alolan Ninetales GX. I really have fun playing it.

Of course the premise is to spread damage as often as I can with Koko, bring in a banded Ninetales for big hits on popular meta beatsticks and engines (Gardevoir, Golisopod, Zoroark, etc.) and discard DCE from there. I'd like to fit in a Special Charge, but I'm struggling with what to remove since the deck runs pretty efficiently so far. I'd love another Brigette, as well. What do you think?

So I've been playing with a.ninetales since early summer this year (granted I haven't used lele or koko because of budget) and espeon gx is definitely something interesting as I personally haven't seen it used often in this deck! This deck already looks pretty solid, but back to the espeon, mind if I ask the purpose behind it? As for brigette, I don't think a second is very necessary considering you're trying to get it out and use it turn 1, since that's the purpose of it. Another card to consider if you have any space is definitely mallow since it has a lot of synergy with octillery, which you have a 2-2 line of. Get 2 cards you need onto the top of your deck and draw them with octillery. If it helps, this is the thread where I was working on my budget deck:

it's still a work in progress, but I'll be editing it again soon with crimson invasion, and it definitely won me quite a few games. There's lots of good advice there too, so hope that helps. Personally, rescue stretcher doesn't look as necessary except for if your baby ninetales gets discarded from a ko or sycamore though, so that might be something? The deck looks really good though so I'm having hard time giving advice, sorry :p

With the amount of spread damage control in the deck, I see the Espeon EX there to enable a turn of mass knock-outs be devolving those tanky GX's. Case in point, Garde may have 230HP to beat through, but that Kirlia only has 80HP.

As for my suggestions, the deck looks solid as it is. While the Special Charge may be tempting I don't feel it's worth it in this deck. Also the lone Bridgette should be fine.

Right on the espeon ex, but the list says gx rather than ex so that's what made me curious. Though when you put the ex into terms of gardy, it sounds really nice, since I usually thought of it in terms of greninja, which seems to be going down in popularity in standard. If that last part made any sense haha.

And I agree with the special charge for this deck to be honest. Yes end game it can play a big role, but it isn't necessary, especially when you already have a great balance.

Since there's no Eevees I'm guessing the "GX" was just a simple mistype in the original decklist. It's easy to get the EX and GX switched up.

...*facepalm* thanks, I should've noticed that, but i somehow didn't xD

Yep, it was a mistake by me. I love Espeon EX (!) because it's another win condition in a deck that easily stacks damage. I am considering adding Zoroark (Trade) line. Brigette x2 is so huge as well, and I think I need to fit in Float Stones. Considering Sycamore as my first cut candidate, and of course the Octillery line.

Sycamore and other draw supporters are crucial for any deck to run and should be the last place you look when needing to cut cards. Here's my suggestion:

-2 Remoraid
-2 Octillery
-1 Skyla

+2 Zorua
+2 Zoroark GX
+1 Float Stone

Thanks for the reply. I finally got 2 Zoroark GX in real life so I can make those changes. I know how important draw Supporters are, however I feel as if I constantly have multiple Sycamore and multiple useful resources in my hand at the same time. Sometimes, I feel as if 4 is way too much, and 3 might be better. At the very least, it's worth testing with. Thanks again for your input, Zoroark GX is crucial in this deck.
