I found these videos while boredom was over taking me.
It seems Gureishia has Ice Body now.

So pokemon don't keep their eyes closed all the time they're asleep? That's a little bit disappointing, but at least you can see a pokemon "fall asleep" when a sleep-inducing move is used this time around (i.e unlike all previous generations) .

In this case, yes, they close their eyes!
I aslo like the new hail animation :3

I noticed that Vaporeon closed its eyes when it fell asleep, but it appeared to open its eyes and then keep them open shortly afterwards (you can see this when Vaporeon's ability activates ). That's what I meant in my original post.

No the special ability made it awake. So this means it WILL keep it's eyes closed when asleep

I see... in that case I'm happy . So now, every pokemon can learn every ability!? Sweeeeeeeet!!

I can see frozen, but burned.... Not sure...
I think in paralysis, they with give off sparks and twitch.

It looks like GameFreak is finally going out of their way to give us a more realistic game...saying a Pokémon game is realistic is irony, but you all get what I mean.

Maybe when they get confused, their animations play backwards...or they randomly change to different parts of their animation. Or their sprites wobble and continue their regular animation.

I hope if they get confused they will have eyes like @, or like, :S. It would be a nice change.

I think confused would be like (º_o) and stuff and they will wobble or reverse their animations.

Awesome! Finally, they close their eyes. It's the little things that make a big difference.

I like the new Hail too, and those new Eeveelution abilities are great. It makes sense that different abilities can be learned by any one pokemon, and not just two. Maybe you'll be able to breed for certain abilities now?

I think they'll shiver when paralized because they are electrocuted but then they will be standing still.

With the amount of unused space on a DS card (especially in the case of HGSS), I wouldn't be surprised if we got a ton of new animations to match status conditions.

No just alternative abilities (just like shiny Pokemon have an alternative coloration). Vaporeon is a Water type Pokemon, so Hydration still makes sense (instead of Water Absorb).

Trust me, you won't see Arcanines with Water Absorb or Caterpies with Intimidate.
