I couldn't find a definite answer anywhere, but as long as it's ability isn't shut off, does it resist the extra damage done by Superpower?
 
It sure does, meaning you are free to do the additional 40 with no penalties whatsoever.
 
Can you please clarify. Technically damage to Golurk is doing the effect from its own attack. Not an opponents attack . I dont understand why his own attack does not damage himself because of his ancient trait.. Thank you for clarification.
 
It's not the AT, it's its Ability. The attack says that you /deal/ damage to yourself. Resistance is applied for every attack involving any of the Active Pokemon (unless otherwise stated), so the damage you're dealing to yourself is reduced because of the Resistance since Golurk is a [F] Type.
 
What happens with garbodor and garbotoxin? it affects golurk? o the AT stop prevents the effect of garbotoxin?
