First of all, who bought the 2nd Rumble game to warrant a third?
Second, why do Rumble 2 and 3 get all mon up to Gen 5, but the new PMD game only get 149 or150? That's even less than Gen 1 games!
It's hardly fair, since the PMD series is so much better and has a better story!

IMO, the new Rumble game is a waste of time, as from what I can tell, they're all pretty much the same; no leveling, only about 3 chances a level (3 cogs) and only one or two moves per Pokémon.
At least the PMD games have leveling.

I actually thought Pokemon Rumble Blast was fun. Maybe you just never bothered to get up to World Rank 10 so you could get ultra high power Pokemon. You could also use Move Tutors to get the Pokemon with the moves you want. The game isn't so much a story as it is battling. Both Pokemon Rumble games have been about battling and trying to catch every different Pokemon you could.

In my opinion, the game was more like a chore since you had to repeat the stage quite a few times to get the Pokemon you wanted, especially for the legendaries and rare Pokemon. The EX-Battles at the end are really difficult, though, and I wished the rest of the game had been as difficult.

This is purely the reason why I dislike most Pokemon spin-offs nowadays...

Just milkin' the cash cow.

dmaster out.

I played the first Rumble for the wii, enjoyed it. Bought the 3DS one. Was VERY VERY VERY disappointed. And, I am getting the wii U for a certain 3D remake... So, I may get this.

I've never played a Rumble game, and I don't plan to anytime soon. Only having two moves is NOT an appealing prospect.

What did you find worse about the 3DS one?

I didn't find the first one bad. I loved it.

The 3ds one? Oh boy. I found the story...was... forced. I mean, rusty pokemon?
A storyline basically saying 'Oh, the group you thought was evil was good. And the enemy you thought was bad, was good.' AND A KEY FOR A FREAKING FINAL BOSS?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? And finding the pokemon in the places...

So anyone know if the 3rd takes place after the 2nd one, or if it's just a re-hash?
