Session #1:
A Fresh Start
I'm only doing this as an excuse to not do work on my fic...
I wake up from a dream where I was trying to tell the time and worm my way out of bed. My mother notices me wriggling in the middle of the room and throws my phone at me. She tells me how to use it and promptly sits back down. Groovin' out the front door, I remember that Elm wanted to see me so I make my way there. I see someone peering through the window and, reminded of the old man at the Celadon gym, I decide not to inquire.
I enter and walk up to Elm who is working away at his desk. I can still see that kid in the window...just staring. Finally the professor notices me and tells me to go visit Mr.Pokemon. The region's pokemaniac. Before I leave to visit this dastardly figure, he offers me one of three Pokemon.
Disappointed that I couldn't just punch anything the came before me and my search for the mythical Mr.Pokemon, I obtained a trusting Totodile. I nickname it 'Zorg' because that's the word I think of when I imagine a Croconaw.
Delta walked to Mr. Pokemon's house without any worries. The Totodile he had received earlier had suffered minimal casualties. The mission was a resounding success.
Mr. Pokemon talks at me and so does the renowned Professor Oak. After being handed the mystery egg and walking outside I receive an urgent phone call. I know it's urgent because it is ringing very loudly. I answer and it sounds like Elm is being murdered in the most gruesome way possible. Wow! I gotta see this!
Leaving Cherrygrove, a boy runs into me and says he wants to test his new Pokemon.
VS
Maybe I should have picked Cyndaquil. Feraligatr and Typhlosion have the best sprites after all...The fight was as easier than the first time I stepped into a patch of grass...I lied. I almost died. BUT TRUSTWORTHY CAPTAIN ZORG WAS THERE TO PULL US THROUGH and we finished with a spectacular 6 HP remaining.
After the fight, the strange boy tells us that his name is '???' and runs off. Strange name.

Session #2:
Crime and Women
The colour really brings out the best in Pokemon.
After I get back to the lab I am questioned ferociously about the crime that had taken place. Giving them a concrete alibi and several witnesses, I get off with a verbal warning. After some dialogue, I make my way back through Cherrygrove and beat some trainers before arriving in Violet City. I made sure I was ready to take on the gym but to my surprise I find a Metapod within my possession; curiously names Beterfrnx.
I stare at it for a few seconds and enter the gym. I beat the first two trainers easily worrying about Falkner and his sand-attack. Luckily Zorg learned Water Gun in the last fight which put my mind at ease.
VS
The fight was very simple with Water Gun. Even after a sand-attack, accuracy was no problem and we got the first badge.
I walk out the gym and get a call from Elm asking me to pick up an egg. The egg was bigger than my bag, so I couldn't put it in, guess I have to carry it.
I head to the Bellsprout tower carrying the egg.
50 Bellsprout and one mowed lawn later, my oddly names rival gives me a lecture on powerful Pokemon then leaves. A quick heal and before I know it, I am handed Flash. These fights are so easy early game.
After leaving, I spend around 10 minutes hatching the egg to reveal a joyous Togepi. However Togepi will not be this vessels name. This form shall be known as Jagger as it has the moves.

Session #3:
Venture Onward to the Dark Cave
Gee, I hope there are no spelling mistakes...
After hatching the Togepi, and learning that it was absolutely useless in this gen, I continued south towards the battalion of trainers defending the dark cave. First few steps into the route and I am face to face with a Mareep. Sweet! An Ampharos. Good stuff. I caught it and named it Amphy. Continuing on, Amphy and Zorg gained a few respectable levels. Before I entered the cave, I made sure Amphy and Zorg had evolved. Level 15 and 18 respectively.
THE CAVE HAD MANY A WORTHY FOE. However what is important here is that the first Pokemon I encountered was a Zubat.
...hmmm...I caught it and named the little guy Sucker Jr. I used the ol' switch-out-for-half-of-the-experience-used-for-underleveled-Pokemon-in-order-for-them-to-gain-some-easy-levels tactic and by the time I left I got Sucker Jr. up to level 12. A few trainers gave me a scare but Sucker survived through it.
After a very short amount of time, I exited the cave with a good level team and a lung full nof fresh air. Only the one though. I sold the other for the loan shark,
On the way towards the next city, a man in a black uniform caught my eye but I thought nothing of it since I needed the Pokemon center.
After healing up I bought a few potions and headed out.
Discovering that the gym was being held up at gun point, I talked to a Pokeball creator (don't ask me I don't write this) and he said he would fix everything...well he didn't since he just fell down a well and broke his face.
SO I GUESS IT'S UP TO ME!

Avenging that Guy with the Broken Face
I use a thesaurus to help me write this crap
As I follow the trail of Slowpoke with no tail, I meet face to face with a Team Rocket member. You know...I thought that whole "If a trainer meets eye to eye they must fight" dealio was a code for the trainers or something to do with honor. Why don't these guys patrol or something? Or like try to sneak up on you? They had enough time to implement this in the remake.
Before I get too ahead of myself, I notice that Sucker is staring down a Rattata so I dispatch the criminal's Pokemon pretty quick. The unit of Rocket members in the cave weren't so bad to take down.
I soon became the hero of the time and therefore, healer of the guy with the broken face. (I hardly ever proof read this)
Thankfully the gym was now free of organized crime lords and so I did battle with those at the crime scene. Obviously battling every trainer, I came to good ol' Bugsy.
VS
Sucker fought the Metapod bravely and earned the experience it had earned (proof read like a pro). Zorg easily incapacitated the other bugs and I was given the shiny spanking badge. Plus the Fury Cutter TM. Pleased with myself I headed to the Pokemon Center and waltz to Ilex Forest.
Bu-wassat? The guy who doesn't know his name wants to duel. ARIGHT!
VS
The fight was easy. Can't be bothered to write any more.

Skrillex Forest
It would really suck if this thread died before I did.
I entered the forest wondering what possible bug Pokémon I could encounter. I always liked Bug Pokémon, always considered them cool looking and underrated. Heracross? Scyther? Ariados? Pinsir?
I find a Caterpie as the first Pokémon and defeat it in one. Well that’s that dream squandered. Moving on. After chasing after a Farfetch’d for the best part of half a minute I return it to its owner who doesn’t even own a badge. I complain in his face (in his face) that a bird type that is defiant could easily take the second gym, his boss gives me HM01 to shut me up. I shout at him more because the only Pokémon that can learn cut at this time is Zorg. They run off as I jam the disk into the Croconaw’s head. *Ding* Zorg learns Cut, okay, mmhm, let’s go.
*Bring Bring* *Bring Bring*
Wade phones me up and I just listen to him drone on as I say nothing and he eventually leaves. There is a tip if someone you don’t want to talk to rings you up. Just don’t say anything and wait until they stop talking.
I make my way through the forest and take care of the trainers outside of Goldenrod. Entering the large town I hear one of my favorite and nostalgic themes. I take a little while to run a few errands, pick up the coin case, some potions etc...
I turn to the third gym...I'm sure this will turn out well.

Playing Catch Up
With any luck I’ll fall at the first hurdle.
Now I say that my file was left exactly where it was but to my surprise I boot up the old bugger and find that Whitney AND Morty have already been defeated with a grand total of 24k in my wallet. Most infuriating. I was hoping Whitney would be one of the high points of this Nuzlocke and thus the original title of this update. I can only imagine it went extremely well as I showcased my insane Pokémon battling skills or I barely made it out alive with one or two casualties. I am led to believe that it is the earlier option since all my Pokémon are at full health and I am stationed in Olivine City without the Secret Potion in my inventory. Oh well,
"AT LEAST YOU HAVEN'T GONE THROUGH ALL THE INTERESTING PARTS OF THE GAME!" I here you cry.
"AT LEAST YOU HAVE THE LIGHTHOUSE!" I here you chant. "AND THE OBVIOUS PADDING!"
A separate look through my collection of Pokémon shows that I have indeed caught a Krabby, in case you were wondering, and named the little fella "DINGLYDANG". No relation. My mind seems to be very good at avoiding every question I throw at it asking why do I have a Krabby until I look at its moves. Ah! My mind remembers in a fakish manner, like a twelve year old who has just been shown evidence to prove him wrong about his crimes, a HM slave. Perfect, I congratulate myself; Krabby can learn quite a few HM's: Surf, Rock Smash, Strength and I assume Whirlpool and Waterfall which are needed very muchly for the later game. Another reason might also be to spare Zorg over here, the big show of the party, gasping for breath as he has to bear the weight of two HMs. As long as there is room for Slash, I should be pretty good.
Another milestone is that Sucker Jr. has evolved so already he following in his father’s footsteps who fought bravely so that Dragonite could survive that fateful night three years ago (probably four by the time I finally update). It has also come to my attention that Morph II has not yet evolved. If I remember correctly I was waiting for an Espeon or Umbreon but I can’t remember which one. I guess I’ll just leave it as it is, either one is welcome to the party.
But enough about catching up, let’s make some progress…next update.

Session #7:
Interesting Things!
I'm supposed to be studying 20 hours a week. Here's a Nuzlocke update.
I battle my way up the treacherous lighthouse on promise that I can find the gym leader. Why she isn't in the gym like everyone else is something to be questioned, it's an incredibly profitable business and it seems that a gym leader would rake in the money taking half of everything their poor victims own. But since it's apparent that one Ampharos that she doesn't even use can be cured with an under the counter substance with a 'the first one is free' policy then it's no wonder Jasmine might send little kids to go collect it for her and then take half their money. IT’S THE PERFECT SCHEME.
Anyway enough of that I cross the ocean like she asks and notice that I am much higher level than all the swimming wacko's the look to hone their skills in swimming and perhaps deadly monster training combat. Four or five levels higher actually so I felt really good about taking on the gym.
The first fight was a Hitmonlee lv.27 which kind of threw me a little bit but a Super Potion ensured victory and the next opponent sent out, you wouldn't have guessed, a Hitmonchan lv.27. This was a lot more threatening since most of its punches could take out any one of my crew. Thankfully though Amphy was there to take the hits and pulled through. It has now taken over Zorg of which is level...heh...27 and Amphy being lv.28.
I leave to heal and on the way back to the gym I receive a phone call from someone who I haven't heard from in about six months. Probably because I had the Pokegear turned off. He challenged me to a battle which as I type I already forget what time , place, dress code, country, system, galaxy, universe, dimension, plane, separate existence to meet him and which bottle to turn up with. It took me longer to type that than the bloody gym leader! Speaking of...
VS
The Primeape battle was nothing short of perfect. Whenever it didn't hit himself in confusion, he flinched due to Bite. Whenever he didn't flinch, he didn't connect the hit. It was very glorious. Poliwrath didn't go as well. In fact it was kind of scary. I switched in Amphy, obviously, but he managed to Dynamic Punch me before I got anything out. So I switched to Zorg and he got hit. Finally I switched back to Sucker Jr. and got the speed advantage. Confuse Ray did most of the work but it was backed up by a few flinches too. A Surf did manage to get him down to red however but we pulled through.
I make sure to nab the badge and HM02 as I sail peacefully back to the lighthouse.

Silly Update #1
Introducing the Shamwow!
Slowbro sprite will be used for any updates that took longer than usual.
So I got back to Olivine and climbed the lighthouse once again to be thanked for delivering the potion. After pondering the strength of Jasmine I decided to walk over to Mahogany before I challenged her; just for a little grinding and practice before I charge in head first.
Since Amphy was just one level away from evolving, it wasn't long before I started work on Zorg, Sucker and Morph II. Thinking that they love me enough to lend me more of their untapped strength, I forced Sucker and Morph II to level thirty-three yet they STILL hadn't evolved. How peculiar. ANYWAY. I headbutted the Red Gyarados and kicked Lance in the chin as I stormed the Rocket Base alone and forced not only two of the passwords needed for the door out of one of the grunts but also his wallet. This guy gives me a speech about Giovanni, I didn't hear the rest because I stole his Murkrow...for...the second...password...?
I negotiated with the Electrode and then agreed to explode and die. I flew through the roof and out of the base, did a loopedy-loop and crashed into Jasmine's gym.
VS
I ate the Steelix and ran out with the badge in my hand.
