Ok if I have an unown G on my ACTIVE and my oppnent uses a dragging attack such as inviting trap or luring flame, would the G on the active block this since the attack is by a result of the effect making it switch.

Also if one of my bench pokemon is Ged and my opponent uses an attack like whirlwind where I get to chose the bench pokemon, can I choose the guarded pokemon and say that the switching is blocked because the attack is dragging the Ged pokemon as a side effect.

If your Active Pokemon has Unown G attached, they can't force switch you with an attack.

Drag Off (Regigigas - DP Promos; Feraligatr δ - Dragon Frontiers; Blaziken ex - Crystal Guardians; Others)
Q. What happens if I use Regigigas' "Drag Off" attack and choose to bring up a benched Pokemon that has an Unown-G attached to it?
A. You may target the Benched Pokemon with Unown-G attached, but since the Unown-G's GUARD would prevent the effect of switching out that Pokemon the switch is prevented. Damage is not done to the Benched or Defending Pokemon, since the chosen target cannot switch. (Jan 21, 2010 PUI Rules Team)

If it's something where you switch your opponent's Pokemon, as DE said, if the active Pokemon has Unown G, the effect is blocked entirely.
If it's something like Whirlwind where you switch your own, you can target your benched G'd Pokemon and block the effect. (If your active has Unown G, it is also blocked entirely.)
