This is my first year in Seniors and I'm hoping it's not that much harder then Juniors, my first tourny will be on Jan. 9th. (City Championships)
How much harder is the compotition? (I think there are less people, but better players)

a lot less people will be playing noob decks usually, other than that the level of players changes only a little bit.

also thats what she said BTW (the title)

i remember i aged up during summer. and my first 11-14 tourny was worlds ( i had gotten an invite) xD. BEAT THAT!

When you move up in the age groups it gets much harder. Mainly from Seniors to Masters is the hard one but when its from Juniors to Seniors its a good change still.

A year or two ago when I was in the senior group still I was playing salamence ex. It worked really well against juniors and many seniors. But when I aged up and into the masters It was no longer that good.

Basically, the higher up you go, the more stradegy plays into the game. Simple basic decks work fine against juniors, but not Masters.

This is also my first year in seniors. I hear they're harder than Juniors, but a bit easier than Masters (thankfully)

I always love watching the cocky seniors move up to masters and then watching their shocked expression when they miss the cut. :D

^ Lol me too. Anyway, junior to seniors is not a big step, just older people. If your good, you will stay good.

Yeah it's kinda the same except in my area where there's like two good juniors and six to ten good seniors, then masters in our area is probably easier than seniors. But as a generalization Juniors and Seniors are pretty much the same.

The top Seniors will generally beat the Top Juniors, and there are generally more players who can shoot for the higher places. But the step isn't as huge as Seniors-Masters.

Speedrill? In seniors? You have a GREAT chance top cutting. Boy. I wish I was in seniors. I was born 1 day before the cut off date. So-I gotta go to masters. LAME. But yeah, seniors is a decent skill level.

I know how you feel rofl
Are you being sarcastic or sirious? >.>

I actually found Seniors to be a pretty big step. I wasn't a good player in Juniors but moving up to Seniors really improved my skill level. Basically, there's just more serious players, more experienced players, a slightly more simple metagame (not too many rogues or noob decks) and usually more players. I wouldn't sweat it as it generally varies by area and just wait a couple tournaments before you decide the skill level.
