Looking to put together a Golisopod GX deck online to try it out. Anyone have a build they can share that's worked well for them so far? I'd like to compare a couple deck lists and go from there. Preferably post-rotation but if it's not it's no biggie.

Here is what I have been running:

Pokemon: 16

  • Golisopod GX x 3

  • Golisopod x 1

  • Wimpod x 4

  • Zoroark x 2

  • Zorua x 3

  • Tapu Koko x 2

  • Tapu Lele GX x 1
Supporters: 16

  • Sycamore x 3

  • N x 4

  • Lillie x 1

  • Guzma x 3

  • Bridgette x 1

  • Acerola x 2

  • Kukui x 2
Items: 17
  • Ultra Ball x 4
  • Choice Band x 3

  • Float Stone x 3

  • Field Blower x 2

  • Rescue Stretcher x 2

  • Switch x 2

  • Special Charge x 1
Energy: 11

  • Grass x 7

  • Double Colorless x 4
-I know a lot of people do not care much for Lillie, but I think she is pretty decent. Everything else runs very smoothly. The energy can probably be changed, as well as the 2 x Switches. I also only have 1 Lele or I would probably play 2.

Here yah go! I found that Acerola at times can be more useful then Guzma, especially when you have two Golisopod on the bench. Not only does Acerola fully heal the Goli, it also recovers the grass energy to use on the Goli you just brought in :3.

What is the strategy with golisopod gx. I can't seem to see what the excitement is about.
Golisopod does great damage for just 1 energy. In order to to that damage you need to bring Golisopod from the bench to the active. Burning Shadows brings so many tools to accomplish that. Guzma, Acerola, and scoop up. On top of all that we still have Switch and Float Stone.

Don't forget Olympia.

I've been running Golisopod with Decidueye, spread damage with Decidueye then go into Golispod to finish them off. Play it with Acerola and then you can scoop either guys and reset with Forrest.
