Pokemon Arceus or Mew

I am SO confused...

Arceus is said to be the the God of ALL Pokemon, being born even before the Universe was formed. However, Mew is said to be the Ancestor of ALL Pokemon...

Help me out here. Some one. ANYONE.
 
Arceus is the god of pokemon where as mew has the dna of nearly all pokemon confusing at first but makes more sense as you go on

Ho-oh was said to have made all pokemon
and arceus is god of all pokemon

As far as I know, Ho-oh has nothing to do with it, Arceus created Dialga, Palkia, Possibly Giratina, Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit and Mew. Then Mew made all the rest.

I'm probably wrong :p

Ardeus made the universe then mew then mew made Ho-oh witch made all pokemon

most likely rares usually make multiple pokemon
 
not really if you know what your talking about it's just an assortment of rares creating the pokemon race
 
my theory is

Arceus is considered the god of all pokemon because of its power and honor
creation of time and space and creating mew giving it many abilities

while mew is the ancestor of pokemon because its abilities, making it create all pokemon

which brings us to Ho-oh, for its own purposes creating the legendary dogs to protect johto

Lols its just a fun theory that i thought of cause im really bored
 
This is how I see it.

Areceus created Dialga and Palkia. They created the universe within the trinity. Then came Azelf, Mespirit, and Uxie. They created the 3 spiritual qualities of life. Then Areceus created mew and humans. Then mew is the ancestor because it had evolved over time into other pokemon and branches.
 
My theory is a japaneese guy drew some pokemon on a peice of paper and thats how all them were created.

Mewtwo made from Scientists using Mews DNA
Darkrai Made from built up dark matter

Darkrai isnt really evil though.
 
If it was evil it wouldn't let you catch it and if it was built up of dark matter it would be pure darkness
