BW/BW2 Are Past pokemon being bulked for gen 5?

I mean if you go over to serebii,Most past pokemon and starters have a new ability.Blaziken is now equiped with an ability deemed speed boost which is seen on both ninjask and yanmega.Seems to me pokemon from older regions are being bulkered up.
 
While it's true that many pokemon are getting (much) better with DW abilities, you also have to remember that many new pokemon also have epic DW abilities, E.G. Jaroda with an ability that makes your stats go up when you use leaf storm. Oh yeah. :p
 
Snakeman's ability reverses stat changes, so it's not just Leaf Storm that'll do it; anything that drops your stats (Leer, Scary Face, Icy Wind, etc.) will raise them instead.

I think the Dream World abilities are an attempt not at making past Pokemon bulkier, but at making them a bit more competitive. Blaziken getting Speed Boost (and the superpowered Hi Jump Kick!) is definitely an attempt at giving him an edge over Infernape. Venusaur gets Chlorophyll. The big ones are Drought Ninetales and Drizzle Politoed. Of course, from a competitive standpoint, there are some useless ones, such as Frisk Wigglytuff, but for the most part, I think that many previous Pokemon will benefit from the Dream World.
 
Did anybody mention Mewtwo's new signature move which'll allow it to OHKO Blissey and everyother previous counter to it in a single shot?

I did some researching and couldn't find anything. Care to elaborate?
 
wow thats awesome. mewtwo is now the only pokemon that can ohko blissey with no set up with a special attack, as well as hurt most pokemon in ubers badly as it gets stab and lots of pokemon in ubers focus on special defense, not as much defence.
 
Darn thats not bad.Beats psychic.But is there any drawback to it though?
 
Only if you consider the fact that it hits Defense instead of Sp.Def a drawback.
 
so its physical.Ah well it replaces psycho cut at least.An improvement from 90-100 base power is somewhat respectable.Enough maybe to discourage the bold Blissey.
 
You misunderstand. It's a special attack (like Psychic, Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, etc.) that hits Defense instead of Special Defense. Psycho Cut is a physical attack.
 
Wow mewtwo just got greater. Glad blaziken gets speed boost, because its my favorite of the fir/fgt starters.
Love the blissey on lugi, to bad my new mewtwo will destroy it. How do people get dw legends? And aso what other legends get new abilities besides the kanto/johto trio?
