DPPt/HGSS Are Pokemon stronger with the use of a Rare Candy vs. manually leveling?

Hey guys MountainDrew here and I was always so curious about this question. Are pokemon stronger if they are Leveled up manually or if you Rare Candy them? If anyone could answer this question that would be awesome. If this is in the wrong place please change it mod.

Other than EV's, its the same.

Manually leveling up will be stronger until your EVs are maxed out. At that point it will not matter if you use Rare Candy or not.

Using a Rare Candy doesn't change anything. All it does is not add EV's, like normal leveling would.
