Are there still rewards for playing the TCG?

Hello, I haven't played the TCG in over 5 years, and I am wondering what kind of rewards they offer for playing.

I used to go to my local comic book store and play against other people for 2 hours every Saturday, and as I filled up a card with stamps, I would get the little 2 card boosters for free, and eventually I would get a badge. Do they still offer things like these?

Also, I hear you can now play the TCG online, can you get any physical rewards for that? I don't care about getting codes for playing online, as I am primarily a collector, so I would like to get any prize cards I could get.

PTCGO doesn't have physical rewards. It is all virtual.

As for rewards at local stores, I'd say that depends on the store. The local hobby shop here gives store credit to winners. I'm not sure if TPCi still do the badges and such, but if your store is affiliated with the Pokemon League, you can win points towards championship events.
