Ruling Are you allowed to Draw on cards ?

I am not sure, go to the person who runs league around you and ask. I also think it depends on how much is drawn or what is drawn on it.

Yes you are, as long as it doesn't affect how it looks on the back.

As long as none of the card text is obscured, there should not be a problem (unless something inappropriate is scribbled on the card).

Why would you wan to ruin your cards that way? Once you do that they will become worthless to trade or sell.:)

not to hijack the thread, but how so xxashxx?

Some players may love to have a card drawn on by somebody they admire in the Pokemon world...

Like maybe if Tom Roos drew on something, that card may go up in value..

on topic, as long as there is nothing inappropriate, offensive, or it covers the card text, then theres no problem with it.

I asked this question before and I did receive a reply from Mike Liesek.

You *MAY* draw on the picture as long as it is nothing inappropriate, or, obscures the text on the card, OR, marks the card in some way...

There are some trainers out their that will not consider a trade or even buy the card if it is drawn on. Seriously. If you draw on the card and after you don't want the card and you take it to a card shop or tournament and you want to trade or sell it to someone they may reject your offer because most will want cards in near mint or mint condition. Meaning with no drawings or creases on the cards. I don't trade for badly damaged cards and cards with drawings on them are considered badly damaged cards. To some people anyway.:)

It just depends on what is drawn on it.. If it is a bunch of scribbles or inappropriate stuff surely no one would love it.. But if it is autograph of someone of course it would be valuable

Yes as long as the card back, or text isn't affected, it should be allowed.
My opponent used a Rare Candy with some drawings on it, so I called the judge, and according to him, it is legal.

Autographs would increase the value of the card or cards. Yes true but if it is scribbles etc it may not be acceptable but it depends on the person. If you were to trade me I would accept autographed cards but nothing else because I don't particularly like cards with drawing other than an autograph because it makes the card or cards look bad. I had a friend who did that to one of his cards and he wanted to trade me the card and I did not accept because he drew on the card.:)
