Ash's Pokemon

Ash had awful pokemon every time. Ash never seems to have pokemon who popular in competitive battling. Anime wise, it would be hoenn, or orange islands since he got the highest ranking in those.
 
Sinnoh region I think is the worst region for Ash. Two of his pokemon (Staraptor and Monferno) are rejects from Paul.

Orange Islands I thought was the best just for Lapras and Snorlax.

I think ash had the best pokemon in Kanto region. Bulbasaur, squirtle, pikachu, charizard along with tauros and the likes..

thats pretty good compared to his other pokes.
