Hey guys this is giong to be the first P!P tournament report i'm doing since I started halfway through the 2012-13 season and there wouldn't have been a point in making reports on tourneys that don't matter.
I am playing a straightforward Team Plasma Basics deck with only one tech --- Max Potion

Day 0
I'm staying at the Omni Hotel and boy!!! I am glad i didn't preregister online. I play a few matches and my deck craps out on me for every one, so I go to bed nervous about how well I'm going to do. Those matches didn't foreshadow anything at all! Also, since I had zero byes since i only got Top 16 at States and never attended a regionals, i just assumed my deck would crap out on me sometime.
Day 1
Round 1 vs Plasma Basics

Round 2 vs Plasma Klinklang
2-0
Round 3 vs Keldeo/Blastoise
Total Blowout. For the third time in a row i set up Blizzard Burn with Keldeo on bench and he doesn't get a squirtle out until turn 5. However when he passed he accidently dropped a Juniper on the mat and I think "why would he have not played down the Juniper??" there can only be ONE plausible reason, because he has Rare Candy/Blastoise. I catcher Squirtle and he scoops.

Not an interesting game, back and forth just like every Plasma mirror, but since i went first I end up coming out on top.

he gets off one Night Spear. Need I say more??

Night 2
My hotel has a gym so i go down there and start running my workout for Cross country and to my surprise. My friends show up!! It turns out that they had stopped by because the guy who was driving them had to pick something up from my mom. needless to say it was a pleasant surprise. Even though all but one of them dropped they were all really happy that someone from our league was going to top cut at nats and was 7-0 in Swiss. I slept amazingly that night.
Day 2
Round 8 vs Plasma Basics
i don't remember since the game was over quick after he only played one supporter and pretty much just ended up losing from there.

Round 9 vs Keldeo/Blastoise/Black Kyurem
Ok so I guess now its my time to get screwed out of every possible thing i could ever want, oh and Black Ballista is the bane of my existence.

Top 64 vs Plasma Basics
He starts lone Lugia and Junipers away a hand full of energy. I'm drawing okay i guess, but it doesn't matter, since turn two he scramble switches and Team Pacts for 180 every single turn.
LOSS 0-1
He gets a beautiful start, but since I go first i get the same thing and if you haven't really been catching on, all Plasma mirrors are dependent on 4 things. Laser Flips, Energy Management, whether or not you can take 3 prizes w/ Lugia, and finally who goes first. Considering that none of us flipped a heads on a laser the entire time that's out of the question. He devotes 3 energy to a lugia only to have it never attack. Since I went first that's pretty much the reason I win.
WIN 1-1
He gets a bad start, I get a good one.... and i end up benching him even though i only take 3 prizes.
WIN 2-1
Wow that was an insane match I'm shaking from nervousness and considering there is still another 1/2 hour of top 64 left I just am standing there.
Top 32 vs Hammer Time!!
i get the literal perfect start. I get 3 Deoxys, a turn 1 frost spear, and laserbank turn 1. Turn 2 I pull off a Blizzard Burn w/ Keldeo on the bench. That's game
WIN 1-0
He goes and passes. I set up with a Raiden Knuckle and he plays an enhanced hammer and an energy onto sableye. After i take out two sableye he scoops.

i get a bunch of crap that i end up selling (sleeves, booster box, binder etc....) and i win a couple side events netting me like 14 packs, so It wasn't a bad weekend at all.

My hotel gave us cookies the first night, but then all the other nights they didn't. Like wow I got my hopes up on cookies every night, but no!
What else can i complain about I made Top 16 at the largest attended Pokemon event in the world.

Round 1 vs Plasma Basics
Ok so it's the first round of the tournament and i go to look up at the pairings and WAIT!! I know this guy. He's from my league and I had no doubt in my mind he was playing Plasma again. He wins the flip and guess what he's playing Plasma. He goes and attacks my kyurem for 40-60 damage and I've lost a lot of hope. i get a turn 1 frost spear for 40 and put 30 on lugia, but NO SUPPORTERS. I am in a heap of trouble as he explodes on his second turn powering up a kyurem of his own. I think I'm going to lose this one, but i get a Juniper and the rest of the match continues back and forth just as any Plasma mirror would be. Towards the end of the game I get down in prizes and he commits a DCE and 2 plasmas to a lugia and just as he goes retreat and take a KO he forgets hes ten short on koing my active and doesn't have a catcher. My time to act is now i power up a Kyurem (had a blend on it from before) with and energy and a colress machine. Rush in retreat, play a Pokemon catcher and hey remember that 30 i put on Lugia on the FIRST TURN? yay my 150 BB takes a clean KO and he can't recover (ya know since losing 4 energy is kinda a big deal) so I end up taking the first Game
Round 2 vs Plasma Klinklang
He wins the flip and flips over lone klink. If i wouldve gone first i would've won the game right ther. But I don't. He benches a few things and passes to me were I get a second turn 1 frost spear for 60 (ko'ing a klink) and have another kyurem on the bench that i colressed machined to. I know this is klinklang so I commit to my kyurem strategy. Why wouldn't I? He attaches an energy and righteous edges. I retreat to my fresh kyurem and play a second energy and frost spear. The next turn my opponent misplays HARD. First off he heavy balls for a Plasma Klinklang when my only attackers on the field are Kyurems and he rare candys to it, with no other klinks on the bench. Then, he attaches a 3rd energy to Cobalion EX and Steel Bullets. This opens up a huge window for me as i power up a Blizzard Burn (and have Keldeo/Float Stone on the bench) and KO his Cobalion. Towards the end of the game he starts to come back by getting rid of all my kurems somehow, but it didn't matter since on the turn i knew i was gonna lose my last Kyurem I catcher KO his Plasma Klinklang and next turn attack w/ Thundurus EX.
Round 3 vs Keldeo/Blastoise

Round 6 vs Plasma basics
This is the longest match report you will probably ever read. It is a wall of text.
Ok now this is where it gets interesting. He dominates this game the entire way through, but I manage to AGAIN get up a Blizzard Burn w/ Keldeo Float Stone. i look through his discard and what do i see? 3 Prisms, 3 Plasmas, 4 Colress Machine, and 4 Blends. He has a Prism and a Plasma on Absol (I hate Absol) and I see an opening. i have Skyla in hand, and DIRECTLY AFTER I announce Blizzard Burn KO time is called. Well guess what, the judges come over and ask who's turn 0. I say it was him, he says it was me, and after 5 minutes they rule me turn 0. i get excited until they tell me "Your turn 0 just ended *points to opposing player* your turn 1" D: My plan is ruined. Why?? because next turn i was going to catcher KO absol and then the turn after that catcher KO Deoxys for game (w/ laser of course) but because i have 3 prizes and he has 1 and i only get one turn to win or tie the game up I can't do that because once he passes he'll have one more prize than me winning him the game. He attacks w/ absol since he realizes that there is no way for me to win by KO'ing the Absol and I draw.... into a laser. i Skyla for a catcher and Blizzard Burn the Deoxys tie-ing up the game. He thinks and thinks (to the point where the judge said hurry up and make a decision) and then rushes in and N's and passes. i look at the judge and say "well now what?" (this is my first time in sudden death LOL) and he explains to me the rules. i have a random receiver in my hand and about 10-ish cards in my deck. I top deck a Juniper and play the random receiver only to reveal the top card as an N (this is important, because i have one catcher prized and was hoping to reveal my deck so I could see if it was in there) I promptly raise up my hands and yell "YOLO!!!!". I slap down the Juniper draw a catcher as my third card. Rush in, retreat, catcher Absol, and Blizzard Burn for the game (after the game i just played they should rename the attack to BLIZZARD BAAAAAAALLLLLLIIIIIIN').
