Ruling attack vs tool cards

if i attack with with any pokemon and the defending as http://pokebeach.com/scans/plasma-freeze/108-rock-guard.jpg attached and i knock out the defending and the effect of rock guard put 6 counters on my pokemon and knocks down my pokemon. who puts a pokemon first me or my opponent???

The player who is about to take a turn replaces his or her Pokemon first (and is supposed to take their Prize cards first as well).
