Ruling Attacks that deal with energy and DCE

In attack texts that deal damage say... 10+ for each energy you have in play (Lanturn Prime's Powerful Spark), how is Double Colourless Energy counted? I've had this question come up at my League before, and I'm positive that DCE counts as 2 energy as that's what it provides.

On attacks that say "for each energy," DCE is counted as 2. For attacks that say "for each energy card," it only counts as one. That is the wording you have to look out for. Also, in the future, please include a scan of the cards in question.
