Were you surprised DS got cut? Of course not, it was on the line. So why are you surprised LM got cut? LM came out before DS in Japan, so if DS got cut, LM would probably have went as well. It was originally planned that the format went LM, DS, HP, and so on in the first place. We still got until Sept. remember, which is an entire season of the year. Don't act like we're losing half our archetypes tomorrow.

Japans format has nothing to do with ours.

In Japan DX came out before TRR ... yet DX was in this format but TRR was taken out.

LM is going because they are trying to "make up" for only taking out 3 sets last year. In general it looks like it's going to be 4 sets in & 4 sets out from now on.

>_> I admit I didn't know that lol. Still we have months before the change. I don't get why everyone is getting so mad already. Maybe they got some harsh critisism for keeping DX in the format and wanted to make up for it this year. It's a possibility lol <_<

Anyways, it's 5 sets out (DX, EM, UF, LM, DS,) and 4 sets in (CG, DF, PK, DP), which makes me believe that we're going to get DP2 before the format cut.

the reason is so next year they can go to DP ON
and they want you to not use Mew ex LM or Arcanine ex anymore

RK9 EX doesn't break the format at all. T2 30 and 20 to the bench is getting replaced by Lucario. Other things can do 100 damage as well. I mean it's a good card, you won't see a 30 and 20 attack with 100 damage to back it up, but it's not a format breaker or anything.

Mew EX is good. If there was a reason to get rid of LM it'd be that, but then Mew* d will just replace it.

I still think the move was made to avoid controversy in Japan about DS and LM releases, especially since DS, HP, CG, and DF were supposed to be released as a series all in a row.

PUI coulda kept DS or LM and still make it DP on next year. In fact, at this rate, it'll be DP2 on next year. I don't really think they want to ruin the next format just to define the format after that.
