Aurora Blizzard Fake Expansion

Hey guys I got drawn into the unrelenting vortex that is making fakes, both for the video game and more recently for the TCG as well. I only found this subforum recently but I am enjoying people's ideas so I thought I would show mine too as well as my works in progress for TCG fakes that I would like to learn to make cards for.

And then I'll update this thread regularly with the new TCG fake text based expansion I'm making. The expansion will be called Aurora Blizzard and it revolves around Mega Abomasnow and Water(/Ice) type pokemon! Hopefully I can turn a few of these into actual cards too.

Here's a listing of the cards in Aurora Blizzard so far: (Grey means not yet revealed, ??? means not added yet. Bold means the card has been created.)

I will add more cards to the list as I think of them, and hopefully I can share 10 cards a week or something like that. I still have many more to think of to make a complete collection of cards. Any feedback to do with wording or clarity will be much appreciated since I am so new to cardmaking! And if you guys like the card ideas I will share my WIPs for the card art too when I make them. ty for reading :)

RE: Pipotchi's Mega Fakemon and Text Based Cards!

Here is a 5 card update- the Duskull line, and an Illumise and Volbeat pair. The Dusclops is an actual fake card I made for the contest so be sure to check it out ^^ Making the card took a while but I got hooked and I think I will be making quite a few more. They are really good practice for drawing too so they will keep me on my toes.
edit: also made duskull card this morning.

I like Dusknoir's Cruel Luck ability, if it were real I think it would see some play. Perfect guard for Hypnotoxic Lase

Thank you, but at the same time it is the perfect companion with Hypnotoxic Laser too because you can keep someone permanently asleep if you can afford to discard an energy each turn! (since they must flip heads to wake up) :D

I designed the card to work paired with Dusclops attack, being able to use several item cards and abilities which require coin flips and then turn them all into tails if they didn't flip tails originally. Combine it with Dimensional Valley and a Celebi EX and you can be hitting for 170 with a silver bangle and flipping 4 heads, which can be knocking out EXs. I dont know if its actually playable but it seemed like it would be a fun strategy wile also giving the option to protect your side from things like pokemon catcher, laser, and various other things which might hurt your team. Plus you could keep someone permanently asleep or confused if you have enough energy

Here's the other 5 Pokemon for this week. I will hopefully be making a card or mandibuzz in the future, along with the card that it is designed to be paired with (perhaps in time for next week)

[Basic] Snubbull- HP70-

I forgot about this... I will update those 20 cards once I find I have the willpower! But I decided to go back to drawing some mega evolutions for the video game for a change.
Here's Mega Eelektross:

ICI1bEi.jpg

Electric Poison typing makes this guy a defensive beast. He gives up the gimmick niche of no weaknesses and instead gains a bunch of handy resistances in exchange for a single weakness to psychic type.
Immunities: Ground
Weaknesses: Psychic
Resistances: Flying, Electric, Steel, Fighting, Fairy, Grass, Bug, Poison

And then his stats allow him to be a great volt switcher- the only(?) ground type pokemon who can actually switch into mega eel's volt switch and do something back to it are landorus-I and mega camerupt. Pair that with immunity to spikes and poison, the ability to heal with drain punch or giga drain, and the option for a variety of defensive, specially defensive, physically offensive and specially offensive spreads due to its great typing and coverage, allowing it to switch into a variety of different pokemon and threaten them out, mega eel would be one of the top pivots in the entire game. It can also abuse STAB acid spray followed by volt switch, which either destroys the pokemon if it stays in, or gives you the momentum on the switch. It also resists both volt switch and u turn from other pokemon (while also wiping the floor with common offenders lando-t, mega scizor, even rotom-w will hate giga drain.

It can even run a coil set to try and boost, and can actually break through Chansey and Blissey due to coil and/or acid spray and immunity to being poisoned back. Its enormous usable movepool include Acid Spray, Aqua Tail, Coil, Crunch, Discharge, Dragon Tail, Drain Punch, Fire Punch, Flamethrower, Giga Drain, HP Ice, Knock Off, Roar, Rock Slide, Super Fang, Superpower, Thunder Punch, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Toxic, U-Turn, Volt Switch, and Wild Charge. This guy has so much mixed options its crazy.

I have a mega emboar, chandelure and escavalier written down here but I'll save them for another time :p
