Ruling Back to pokemon after many years, some questions

Just a few questions I have:
1. Rescue energy. If you play this on a stage 1/2 or a Lv X do you get to return all of the Pokemon cards to your hand? Or just the top card?
2. Level X cards. If I use a trainer that allows me to search my deck for any Pokemon, can I take a Level X card?

2. Yes you can.
