His eyes shot open like a rocket. They stared into an ash filled sky, tainted with the impurities inside the embers they floated around him like a form of mist. He didn’t know anything. How to move or how to talk. So he lay there. Then the ash drifted downward toward the ground. It filled his lungs. He could feel himself involuntarily coughing, his body rolling on the floor side to side like a wailing baby. He thought his lungs tried to speak, and maybe he did and juts didn’t listen, from the burning pain soaring through his body. This horrible existence lasted but 20 seconds and then, just as quickly as he had woke up.

”Not yet… you still haven’t felt your share of the suffering… Ryam…”

Suddenly he could feel power in his body. His legs picked themselves up off the ground and started to move in a criss-cross pattern. He had no idea what this was called. Yet he could feel something making noise. How did he know what noise was? He was clueless. It was whispering things to him. He was too overwhelmed. And the second he got out of that burning tower he collapsed. It was as if every bone in his body had been broken.

Then the whispering got more intense. It was as if it was saying 3 words at a time, It was… teaching him. It said things like, “walking, running, and jogging.” Or “, attack defend, dodge.” Simple commands but at the time overwhelming. But one thing, he always was referring to Ryam. What was Ryam, the voice never said that. Then he tried to pick himself up using his legs and feet. He was wobbling a bit, and he could barely move his leg yet keep balance while doing it. It was like watching a toddler learn to walk. He continued on picking up on new things. The voice continued to whisper as he learned and learned, but never learned what Ryam meant. He learned until you couldn’t tell the difference between him and any other person.

After learning and walking, he moved on from the ash filled area and on the jungle he moved on until he found another clearing. It was a bloody battlefield. Dead warriors filled it all. “Is this all the world is?” he thought out loud “, Despair? Pain?” An eevee sat there with a javelin through its heart. And an Espeon and Umbreon dead as well a few feet away. He sat there watching them. Wondering about them. Who were these people? Why were they dead? Did they deserve to be dead? He needed to know. But perhaps he never would.

Then an Espeon came into sight. It was walking around the open battlefield and spotted the baby eevee it quickly ran over to it. Away from that were an Umbreon looking around near the Espeon and Umbreon. He smiled, perhaps I wasn’t the only one who ponders the unknown”

Part 1

He could hear a voice. The voice, yelling.
“You can’t do this! Why did you let him get to you!”
Another voice responded back.
“Because he was right! This whole time we’ve been wrong!”
“I will stop you if you try, I hope you know that.”
“Then it will be the day I look forward to. When I can take you both out in one foul swoop…”
“You’ll never get to him... we will meet soon… soon.”

His eyes opened. He was in the forest. ”What was that? Who were those people? Why am I in the forest?” He picked himself up. “Does that happen all the time? To everyone?” he asked himself, hoping to get a response from the voice.
“No.” it responded.
He took that answer knowing he wouldn’t get anything more and went back to the open battlefield. The dead eevee was now jumping around happily around the Espeon. ”But how? Wasn’t it dead?” He walked to them and smiled happily. Then he came.

A shadowy Umbreon appeared from the forest holding a long rapier. It demanded the child. The Espeon was first to retaliate by saying it wasn’t his so he couldn’t have it. He figured that if it wasn’t his he shouldn’t have it. His instincts told him, protect, protect the child. So he did just that. He leapt at the Umbreon just to be knocked away by the blunt end of the rapier. He felt his face, there was blood. He had been hurt. He turned to see a pokemon running away with the eevee but stopped, as everything turned wacky. Everything around them was dark and shadowy. The Espeon and the Umbreon leapt at the other Umbreon. The Umbreon swatted away the Espeon with ease but the Umbreon managed to slice his body leaving gashes into his side. The blood dripped out slowly but it did come out. He felt the urge to attack as well. He animal instinct he could not refuse. He leapt again, but the rapier swiped upward gashing his body blood pouring out now. He could feel himself almost blinking out to death but was startled when he found a cold presence. It was cool hard metal. It was a dagger. Somehow he had been hit right next to it. He grasped it tightly and stood up holding his wound sorely. The other pokemon were still trying. The Umbreon was swiping them down with no problem. He sprint toward him and thrusted the dagger through his body then removing it and constantly piercing the skin. The Umbreon fell. The world changed back to normal, and the loss of blood caused him to faint.

”Have I felt enough suffering? My share of the suffering?”
”No.”

Part 2

He awoke to the sound of people talking. He slowly sat up straight. He felt the stitches going across his body. They felt weird and ragged, as if done in a hurry. Around him were the pokemon he had fought along side with. The Espeon was picking up the child eevee and was starting to head on leading the pack. The Umbreon was busy packing her thing, the Flareon walking behind the Espeon wearing a backpack, and another Umbreon was sitting around waiting for the other Umbreon. He got up and walked over to one of the Umbreon.

“What happened”, he asked.
“Oh, you’re up,” she replied “, you had a nasty cut.”
“Yeah, I guess so…” he answered.
She went on to explain how he had fallen unconscious after he had killed the other Umbreon. The world had shifted back to the original deserted battlefield, with one more bloody body to add to the mess. They were now packing up to find a suitable home for the eevee.

“Sorry,” He told her “, that whole thing isn’t really for me. Watching over kids…”
“So you’re just going to leave it?” she said now getting angry.
He could feel the tension so he just sprinted off away from the pack. He ran for miles, across desserts, over mountains, around lakes, until he reached the sea. He sat down on the rigid rocky coastline and just sat and thought. But instead he of learning, he remembered…

An Umbreon woke up from his bed. An Espeon next to him.
“Wake up! Come on we have to leave!” it was screaming at him. The room was on fire and he could see the fear in the little Umbreon’s eyes.
“How’d this happen?” he yelled to her as they ran down the stairs.
“It was Vex, Vex lit mom and dad’s room on fire, and now they’re, they’re….”she sputtered out tears coming to her eyes.
The Umbreon’s expression turned cold as he ran away towards another room. There stood another Umbreon almost identical to the other just much greater inside.
“VEX!!!” the Umbreon shouted as he tackled the larger Umbreon tackling him out through the broken window into the dark cold night. The fire consuming the house illuminated the night. The Umbreon stood up, his floor dancing like flames in the wind.
“They were weak Shade! I know now! I know!” The older Umbreon shouted at the younger. The younger one screamed as he ran and started to punch the larger one his forehead suddenly glowing along with his paws.
When the older one saw this he stammered “, he chose. You? You over me?” The older Umbreon felt tears rush around his eyes as he turned and darted away from the flaming house.

He sat back thinking to himself. ”What was that?”
For some reason he was exhausted and he doubled over in need of sleep. There, he learned more…

You do realize that all but... about seven people (maybe less), would actually have any clue of the events you're ever referring from.
