Well i downloaded GIMP and i have started trying it out. i made my first banner which is going to be a birthday card for my sister. here it is. im making an HGSS banner soon also.

looks great for your first, but a few problems:

-you should get rid of the part that says www.getcliparts.com
-the right part is too empty
-actually thats it...

where'd you get the text? looks awesome :(
 
i dont remember. can you tell me where to find the rising sun brush? im trying to make a new banner.
 
what program is it on? i just checked and its not on gimp or PS CS4...

EDIT: you can download them on photoshop
 
2nd banner looks awesome, im just sad about the choice of pikachu.

the 2nd one would be ok if the renders didn;t have white dots surrounding them.

either use the eraser to erase them or use the blur tool or both (eraser first)

and i mean i dont really like that pikachu
