What happens if u were attacked during my opponent's turn as Shieldon.

And when its my turn to i evolve bastiodon.

Does that still counts as Bastiodon was damaged?

Anything that says its own name should really read "this Pokémon". So I would assume so.

it means u cant because the card says...If BASTIODON was damaged by an attack during your opponent's last turn, this attack does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon)....and shieldon is not bastiodon
