So I have been toying around with trying to make a competitive deck with Scizor Prime since before Emerging Powers came out because I love his Pokebody and attack, but sadly with the rampant Reshiram based variants, it was foolish to do so because the only good anti-fire tech at the time was Samurott(Ability) which in playtesting proved to be too slow as a Stage 2 line and was capable of still being 2 shot by a ReshiBoar or ReshiPlosion variant if they had 2 reshirams period. The difference EP made was Beartic, which as a stage 1 was much faster to set up and with Sheer Cold is able to stall off Reshi decks while dealing nice weakness damage. So with the big bad bear now in the meta, I decided to dust off this idea and give her another go around.

Pokemon: 20
3 Scyther 36/90 UD
3 Scizor Prime
2 Voltorb
2 Electrode Prime
3 Cubchoo
3 Beartic
1 Kling
1 Klang
1 Klinklang BW
1 Cleffa/Manaphy (Leaning towards Manaphy but Cleffa is currently easier to get hands on in my area.)

TSS: 25
3 Collector
3 Interviewers
2 Rare Candy
3 Communication
3 Reversal/Catcher
3 Junk Arm
2 Twins
3 PONT
1 Elm's Training Method
2 Switch

NRG: 15
4 Special {M}
4 {M}
5 {W}
2 {C}{C}

The idea behind this is to set up with voltorb and get a T2 Electrode prime to energy boost a benched Scyther/Scizor/Cubchoo/Beartic and set up twins for different choices (Either another Scizor setup, another beartic, or Klinklang). With scizor and a decent Energymite you can get a nice damage attack T2, or with Beartic you could get early sheer cold lock. Klinklang is here as a tech for moving around energy between setup scizors or as an evacuation for an impending KO'd scizor. Beartic is here obviously as a nice Stage1 Reshi/Donphan Counter.

Now to explain a few things. I chose to opt out of DCE for a few reasons, one of which being a lack of room in the deck (if anyone has some suggestions to throw a few in go ahead). Another reason being that if I am facing a reshi deck, I would hopefully have set up beartic with electrode thus not needing the fast setup that DCE allows and if a second is needed, the first beartic can slow down the opponent enough to get the three energy on it.

One thing I am thinking about possibly is to reduce the Klinklang line to 1-1-1 as it is just a tech and not really as nessesary except in circumstantial situations. This would afford me room to throw 2 DCEs in for Beartic.

Suggestions/Comments?

EDIT: I thought of that as well Snorlax but couldn't think of what to take out for them. Reduced the Elm's like you suggested and also took out 1 basic metal to add switchs and reduced the klinklang line to 1-1-1 to add the DCE for Beartic.

with catcher out and having two high retreat costs with beartic and klinklang you really need to add in two switches. But idk what to tell you to take out. but you should really consider putting in DCE too. Just some suggestions to think about adding. I know you could take out an Elm's. GL
