I have found a love for the Beautifly/Espeon combo. Here's the set-up that I've got...
Pokemon:
{G} Beautifly x3 'Colorful Powder'
{G} Silcoon x3 'Ascension'
{G} Wurmple x4
{P} Espeon x3 'Solar Suggestion'
{C} Eevee x4 'Signs of Evolution'
{C} Farfetch'd x2 'Go and Collect'
{C} Zangoose x2 'Invite and Strike'
Energy:
{G} Grass x10
{P} Phsycic x6
{C}{C} Dbl Colorless x4
Supporters:
Bebe's Search x3
Pokemon Communication x3
Pokemon Collector x2
Interviewer's Questions x3
Fisherman x2
Team Rocket's Trickery x3
Professor Pak's New Theory x2
Flower Shop Lady x1
Start off with Farfetch'd to use 'Go and collect' to get whatever supporters I need, then use Zangoose's 'Invite and Strike' to bring out a different pokemon then what the opponent wanted to use. By this time I usually have Espeon and/or Beautifly ready to go. I retreat, then I pull up Beautifly to do initial damage and poison burn & sleep the defending pokemon with 'Colorful Powder'. On the next turn, if they were still asleep and could not attack then I attack again, or if they woke up between turns and attacked Beautifly, then I retreat w/ 0 retreat cost and put Espeon out there to use 'Solar Suggestion' to heal Beautifly and either knock out the defending pokemon, or snipe the bench. From here I either keep throwing the damage they put on my back at them while I get a 2nd beautifly started, or retreat and use Zangoose to once again switch there pokemon up, or chop up to do 50 damage, and 10 damage to any benched pokemon w/ damage already on it.
(I know that Zangoose is not really popular, but before you poo-poo it right away, I just have to say that it is very debilitating, and cannot tell you how many times 'invite and Strike' has foiled my opponent's plans, allowed me to take controle of the game, and gave me a chance to pick away at opponents pokemon until I have all my prizes)![Stick Out Tongue :p :p](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Over all this deck is not an AMAZING deck per say, but it is really fun to play. It may be missing heavy hitters, but what it lacks in BIG damage it makes up for by being light and annoying. After weeks of trying, practice and tweaking my deck, I finally found a set-up that helped me take 3rd place at my local Pokemon tournament with this deck against other decks I have never been able to beat before.
I guess the one thing I'm still not 100% happy with is my Trainers/Supporters. I am totally open to suggestions, or different points of view & feedback is welcome. ^_^
