Ruling Becoming X

okay, I read the rules and I still am not sure. the rules state:
In the DP series, an Active Pokemon can be Leveled Up during your turn. A Pokemon can't be Leveled Up on the same turn that it comes into play. As long as they're Active, multiple Pokemon can be Leveled Up during your turn. Energy and damage counters that were on the Pokemon before it Leveled Up remain on that Pokemon. A Pokemon recovers from Poison, Burn, Sleep, Paralysis, and Confusion when it Levels Up. Any other effects that were on the Pokemon also go away.

Does this mean that if I evolve Monferno to Infernape then I cannot place Infernape level X on him all on the same turn? what if I naturally evolved Monferno to Infernape and then played Wally's Training, would that allow me to search my deck for Infernape level X and put it in play all on the same turn?

No you can't level up into Infernape lv.X on he same turn you evolved into Infernape.
Wally's Traning sais to evolve the pokemon you are using it on to it's next stage/evolution. And cause Infernape can't evolve into Infernape again, Wally won't work.

So evolveing and Leveling up are different matters? You can level up in ascending order as much as you like, but you can't evolve more than once?

This much I know.

-You can't level up on the same turn you evolved the pokemon.
-lv.X pokemon are not considered evolution cards, so Wally's Training can't get them out.

I assume you can level up a pokemon on your turn as much as you like in ascending order (if you have in your had a pokemon of the same name but a higher level) like you said, but since we haven't had DP released here yet, I can't say for sure.
