Ruling Bench argument and few more problems

Hi guys,

I have some new questions about Pokémon gameplay.
Problem 1:
If I attach a Pokémon on my Bench, may I switch it with my active Pokémon immediately after putting it onto Bench?
There was a situation, I had Shuppet from Platinum, which attacks for 1 energy and causes 30 damage. Ane effect of its attack says “Return Shuppetr and all cards attached to it to your hand. (If you don't have any Benched Pokémon, this attack does nothing.”
I had 2 of those Shuppet in play – is it possible for me to use this effects of their attacks the way, that first one uses that attack, I return him to my hand, on active position goes the second one, then opponent uses his/her attack, and if my Shuppet wouldn't be KOed, then, on my next turn, I put the returned Shuppet on my Bench, use attack of active Shuppet, return it to my hand and replace active position again with the previous Shuppet…?
Someone told me, that Pokémon must stay 1 turn on Bench, before it can go to “action”, but there isn't any rule, that says so, I'm a little bit unsure.

Problem 2:
If I have Porygon2 from Great Encounters and opponent has Stoutland from Boundaries Crossed, which prevents playing Supporter cards from my hand, may I still use Porygon2's Download Poké-Power and does happen effect of that discraded Supporter?

Problem 3:
If I have Dugtrio (Platinum) on my Bench and some Pokémon with effect like “Whirlwind” which changes the opponent's Pokémon on my active position, does the retreating Pokémon still receive damage from Dugtrio's Sinkhole Poké-Body? And does receive the retreating Pokémon damage, when it retreats with the effect of Switch or any other Trainer or someother else Pokémon's Poké-Power/Poké-Body/Ability? (For example Gradevoir Lv. X's (Secret Wonders) Teleportation Poké-Power)

Problem 4:
Is it possilble for the player to attack a Pokémon, that used something like "Sand attack", which says, that attacking Pokémon muset flip a coin, to see, if the attack would be performed, when the attack of the other Pokémon says, it doesn't apply all efekts of the “blocking” Pokémon?
(For Example Sandshrew's (Base Set) Sand Attack vs. Starmie's (Next Destinies) Swift)

Thanks for answers. ;-)

Problem 1: You must promote a Pokemon immediately after you use Shuppet's attack. There is no rule that it has to be on at least a turn before you can promote it (that one turn rule only counts for Evolutions).

Problem 2: I'm not completely sure on this one so another Professor can tackle it. It would seem like you would be able to use Porygon2's Download Power to use the Supporter since it's being used as an effect of the Power, but again, I'm not sure on that one.

Problem 3: Whirlwind does not count as Retreating a Pokemon, so it would not take damage from Dugtrio (same thing works with cards like Switch, Warp Point, Escape Rope, Rush In, etc). Teleportation is also included in that batch because it's switching, not paying the Retreat cost to retreat.

Problem 4: You would still have to flip a coin. Sand Attack places an effect on the Pokemon using Swift (Starmie in this case), not as an effect on Sandshrew.

dmaster out.

Card scans, please; now I have to go look them up just to make sure >_<

You're not exactly switching out when using Shuppet's Fade Out. It returns to your hand, and then you must promote a Pokemon from your Bench to replace it. You might be thinking of evolving a Pokemon, which does require you to wait a turn. But if you want to bring up a Benched Pokemon right away, you would still need to retreat/use Switch etc; you can't do it for free just because you want to.

Problem 2:

You can use Download. You are not playing a Supporter; you are discarding it directly from your hand. Stoutland does not block the Poke-Power.
