I have a stack of Pokemon cards from the 1990s which I've been keeping in an aluminum case (the case is actually from the Redakai card sets, I just needed as many cases as I can to hold my cards). I've kept the cards in the case for quite a while, along with some other sets of cards. It's been in there for a few months, since I haven't been active with anything Pokemon related because of school. So just yesterday I took down the case from the top of my bookshelf and I opened it to discover one of my stacks were bent! This was very scary for me since these are from the 1990s, and I value them a lot, my sister's friend gave them to me when I was younger, actually, he collected a ton of cards when he was younger, those wonderful cards are actually how I began to like Pokemon, besides watching the first ever episode of Pokemon and being absolutely clueless on what this show was . I don't have many heavy books and I don't have much patience to do them little by little, since I move back to New York on Monday (I'm currently in Brazil, and it is super hot here right now!!!). So any ways I can straighten them? Currently I have one luggage filled and it is REALLY heavy, so I thought placing the cards in small piles and placing the luggage on top of them, it's almost been a full day and I've recently checked on the cards an hour ago and they're still bent! Will this thing with the luggage work? Are there any other ways to straighten them faster?
