Discussion Best Bo1 Deck?

There's another ARG tournament near me this weekend and I'm considering going. Their Swiss rounds are Best-of-One so my approach has to be a bit different as opposed to going to a regular tournament. What deck do you think is best in a Best-of-One format?

To me, this sounds like it necessitates consistency over all else. So look for a deck that provides that. Probably should away from most stage 2 decks. I hear people say that Zoroark/Golisopod is top notch for consistency, but I've never been able to make that deck click for me.

I'd lean toward something with a focus on basics... So to mean that's Buzzwole, Volc & Friends, or Lapras.

Sidenote: how far do you tend to have to travel for ARGs? I'm thinking about trying them next season, but none are in my state.

attacking hoopa (from shining legends), your opp. will scramble trying to come up with a solution and by time they figure it out, you will win your BO1

Thats always the tricky part of the best of 1.
Even the best decks, best players can have a bad draw. it happens.
just choose the deck you personally feel is consistent, play test, and make sure you are familiar with the ins and outs of how to run it against different opponents.
