Best Non-EX Pokemon To Use Against EXs?

I've been wondering... what is the best way to beat an EX...without actually using another EX? Basic legendaries from BW don't count, too.

I'm trying to work out a "hipster" deck that would surprise people.

Empoleon and Garchomp are good stage 2's that can take hits and do some serious damage to EX's as far as pokemon that are meant to counter Ex's maybe Terrakion NV ( I know he's a legendary but hes really good) I like Boufallant as well he can hit an EX pretty hard if you combine him with aspertia city gym and an Eviolite or something that would give him a HUGE boost (-40 damage instead of -20 as well as +20 extra HP) since he can't take many hits from a few of the more popular ex's (Landorus, Terrakion, Rayquaza and Mewtwo) there's Sigligyph Dragons Exalted as well but i'm not as big of a fan of his cause he gets shut down pretty badly against Darkrai since he doesn't hurt very much while darkrai spreads 30 damage to your other benched pokemon.

Sigilyph DREX for countering Mew/two EX, Invincible against EX cards and I can't remember it's attack. But I believe it's decent.

Sigilyph and Bouffalant jump to mind instantly. Sigilyph outright prevents all damage from EXs, and Bouffalant with an Eviolite attatched will reduce damage done to it by 40, while it swings back at EXs for a massive 120. I personally like Hydreigon. It hits for 150 damage which is enough to OHKO Shaymin and Mew, as well as leave the rest with 30 or less HP. It also OHKO's Rayquaza EX thanks to weakness. Past this, it really depends on the EX.

As far as the basics from B/W go, I know they "don't count" but Terrakion is the only one I would actually use specifically for getting EXs, since it OHKO's Darkrai EX, Raikou EX, and Zekrom EX. Past that, I couldn't think of any.

dont forget we are getting scizor in boundaries crossed which can prevent attacks from ex pokemon
sigilyph
bouffalaunt
scizor= EX HATE DECK
xD

Please take note that some EX Decks will certainly like to run Garbodor to spoil your protection, ESPECIALLY if that protection involves Sigilyph DRX. Use a non-EX backup attacker, or run Tool Scrapper.

Scizor comes to mind as Scyther DRX can deal big dommage to Terrakion(Another big threat) if necessary but is better off not attacking as it is ohko'd by Land Crush (Why doesnt it resist fighting -_-?) and Scizor trolls EXs if your on the right turn count. Silgiyph is another good one.

I haven't played yet, but darmanitan may look alright if you can sweep with him. Definitely not your main hitter though.

The boundaries crossed one.
